Culture, spirituality, land and beauty. The #ViviMonte project starts from here, with the first appointment, dedicated to Ciociaria gold, the olive tree, expected for Sunday 23 October.
The project promoted by the Municipality of Monte San Giovanni Campano, made possible thanks to the contribution of the Lazio Region, aims to enhance the riches of the city through various experiential paths. The delegate for culture and tourism Floriana Belli thus explains the cornerstones of the project and the declination of the many events scheduled until December. “Monte San Giovanni Campano can boast a boundless heritage from a naturalistic but also historical and artistic point of view. With #ViviMonte the visitor will be at the center of the experience, a real protagonist to discover our city. For this reason, several experiences with a multifaceted character have been identified, to bring the essence of Monte San Giovanni Campano to life in an empathic way.
Sunday will be the first of the 5 #mareverde events: with immersions in olive groves, activities for families among ancient olive trees and exploration of hidden traditions, participants will be able to come into direct contact with the world of the olive tree. From next week, thanks to the professionalism of certified guides, #castellomonte will also start, a free tour of our ducal castle that will be offered for 4 holidays. For a full-blown immersion in the Montician mood, the #conoscimonte walks will ferry us through the waterways, the rustle of the olive trees and the history of the border stumps. We will then take a leap in time with #santommasoatavola, re-reading and savoring the Thomistic philosophy thanks to the dishes of the time. We will walk on the San Benedetto route, with #viabenedicti, accompanied by the television journalist Emilio Casalini and by the blogger of the paths par excellence, Cesare Romanò. We will then reserve a passage to a key moment in the history of our land, the one that took place in #casinavalentini. This is why we have chosen to entrust the story to creativity by proposing an animated comic and a contest aimed at schools to narrate this heroic and memorable event of the Italian Risorgimento that took place right in Monte San Giovanni Campano.
