Yoga on the beach, historical re

In Ravenna it is time, as every year, to celebrate the anniversary of the death of the Supreme Poet, with a Sunday full of initiatives. But you can also go back to the time of Theodoric with the historical re-enactments of Ravenna Historia Mundi, the Festival of history. For those with a sweet tooth, the appointment with the European Market of European Flavors in Cervia is unmissable: between churros, arancini, paella, wurstel and Argentine asado there is something for everyone! And, as always, after a “revel” weekend you can recover by disposing of some calories by doing physical activity, but always relaxing: we therefore suggest the Kalemana Festival on the beach of Punta Marina, for a Sunday between yoga and fitness activities.

Parties and festivals

In Cervia three delicious days are staged with the food and wine stands of the European Market of Flavors of Europe. In Ravenna at the weekend you can take a step back in time with the Ravenna Historia Mundi, the History Festival that offers a unique opportunity to relive scenes of daily life and activities in use in antiquity at 360 °. In Villanova di Bagnacavallo, on the other hand, the ancient arts of the use of valley herbs and local wood are recalled with the 38th edition of the Marsh Herbs Festival. In the center of Faenza, two days of shows between magic, juggling, acrobatics and music with the Buskers. The Festa della Misericordia is celebrated in Casola Valsenio, with tagliatelle, polenta, dance and singing performances, while the Antica Sagra del Monticino returns to Brisighella. Fusignano is preparing to celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary, patron saint of the city, with traditional celebrations. At the weekend the festival of the conscious journey ‘ItineRa’ also returns.

Music, dance, sports and shows

Sunday will be a dense day dedicated to Dante and which will open as usual a program of events, Ravenna for Dante, which brings together institutions, scholars, places, artists and publics, in the city that was “the last refuge”. And, again to celebrate Dante’s death, Sunday in Ravenna ends with the concert of the Young Musicians European Orchestra conducted by Paolo Olmi in the Basilica of San Vitale, while on Friday Corelli debuts in Brisighella with ‘Canzonissima’, an evening dedicated to the best of repertoire of the Italian song of yesteryear. The 24th edition of Ammutinamenti – Festival of urban and author dance begins on Friday in the center of Ravenna, which will host the most famous artists in the panorama of contemporary and research dance, but also shows and performances by young authors. On Sunday the Kalemana festival lands in Punta Marina, an intense day of yoga, shows, influencers (present Giulia Calcaterra and the radio host Paola Maugeri), sport and spirituality. On Saturday, however, the Graziola di Faenza hosts for the first time the event dedicated to sports clubs and associations Sport in Unione. The Open Water Week on the beach of the Fantini Club in Cervia ends with many water activities. Finally, in Bagnacavallo, pedaling, shows and yoga with the Piccolo Festival of children in nature.

Art and exhibitions

The anthology dedicated to the artist Nico Caruso at the Mic in Faenza is still open and the last weekend to visit ‘Fragments’ at the Classense in Ravenna. Second weekend at Palazzo Rasponi in Ravenna for the photographic exhibition ‘Tomorrow I’ll be good. Women, mothers in Italian prisons’, while there is still time at the civic museum of San Rocco to admire the anthological exhibition dedicated to the painter Ettore Panighi. He continues in Cervia ‘Lights from the Aegean’, an exhibition by the Greek artist Evgenia Kaika. At Palazzo San Giacomo di Russi a few more weeks for the exhibition ‘Alla Natura. Artistic action as the last magical and saving rite ‘. ‘The villages in pencil’ is the title of Simone Delladio’s solo show hosted at the Bottega Matteotti window in Bagnacavallo. The exhibition ‘Wonders of nature … in my way’ by Santino Guli known as Mario, an artist from Sant’Alberto who died in 2021 has just been inaugurated at the NatuRa Museum of Sant’Alberto. The exhibition curated by Gianni Zauli ‘AnimaLudens’ opens on Sunday at Fira di Russi. an interactive and exhibition installation that ‘sends to the slaughter’ words, images and fantastic animals to smile and reflect on the Italian language. At the Musa di Cervia you can admire the historical black and white images that illustrate the Italian salt pans. Saturday at the Pallavicini22 Art Gallery in Ravenna inaugurates ‘The body of the flower’, a double solo show by Sara Meliti and Gio Manzoni, while on Friday at the Ugonia Museum in Brisighella the collective exhibition ‘Spine Mixtape 2’ opens.
