Last Saturday between the vaults of the ancient Basilica dedicated to the Immaculate Conception in Catanzaro, the heavenly patron saint of the city, a moment of intense spirituality was celebrated which saw the participation of the brothers of the Silvestrino associationwho came from the city and from the regional provincial delegations, to find each other in prayer and friendship.
At the celebration, chaired by Monsignor Luigi Casolini di Sersale, founder and president of the association, assisted at the altar by the ecclesiastical master of ceremonies, the canon Ciro Zeno. The directors and the representatives of the provinces of Reggio Calabria, Cosenza, Vibo Valentia, Crotone and Sersale symbolically guided by the regional delegate, they found the doors of the city and the heart of the people of Catanzaro wide open. There was no lack of relatives, friends and future members of the association.
The liturgical service that assisted the celebrant was excellent and consolidated. Particularly appreciated was the presence of the prefect, Maria Teresa Cucinotta, and mayor, Nicola Fiorita. No less excellent was the previous evening, organized in Sellia Marina, by the owner of a famous associated restaurant who, with affability and competence, made people taste local foods, thus allowing the many who arrived in advance of the official date of the associative meeting to get to know each other and start your Calabrian stay “great”.
