With almost 30 years of artistic career, countless awards and recognitions, as well as a long list of successful film and television productions, Mexican actor Christopher Uckermann has decided to retire from show business to focus on his spiritual facet.

It was the former RBD member himself who shared the news through a video he posted on his Instagram account, in which he explained the reasons that led him to make the difficult decision.

“I wanted to share with you on this day of clarity and message one of them, which is the importance of working and walking towards your dreams, of fulfilling your purpose, what is in your design, going after that dream,” said the interpreter.

The 35-year-old artist expressed that the content that is currently being produced and gaining great popularity does not provide a positive message to society, but rather contributes to a low-energy flow, so he prefers to get away from them and dedicate himself to finding another purpose in his life.

“That we can consume things that feed. Imagine a world of good news, of being able to get up and read the newspaper or see something wonderful on the networks, that someone saved animals, that someone did something good in the world for another person. good news in the world would make a whole energetic difference.

The actor, who is remembered for his character Diego Bustamante, in the soap opera that crossed borders, ‘Rebelde’, recounted his experience as an artist: “I was part of entertainment, for those who know me or not, I was in entertainment all my life and what I can tell you is that 90% of the people who are in the world of entertainment or in any system, many do not know what they really do… but who knows what they do in this world? “.

The artist stressed that he will continue to be linked to music and other artistic projects, but not for commercial purposes, but with a more spiritual perspective.

“I am no longer the protagonist, now we are a team, now we are the integrity integrated to the other and grow together. I love to celebrate with my team, it is one of the things that I enjoy the most in all my solo projects. When I finish a concert, that everything mine is a small scale compared to everything that RBD was, but it is something that fills me completely, applauding the team, being a leader and guiding them and teaching me, are the things that I value the most on this planet earth “.

Finally, the singer warned that “fame will never fill you, that search is well experienced, it is valid, but it will never fill you.”

Christopher Uckermann began his career at a very young age as a model. At the age of 11, he was honored with the El Águila Dorada award, for having made more than 160 commercials. He also ventured as a child actor in the telenovelas ‘Amigos por siempre’ and ‘El Diario de Daniela’, however, his moment of greatest success and worldwide projection came with his participation in ‘Rebelde’, by Mexican producer Pedro Damián, with the who even formed the group RBD and toured various countries in Latin America and Europe.
