Spazio Macos splits into three, solo exhibitions for women at the start

Saturday 21 January, at 5.30 pm, in the premises of the Spazio Macos art gallery, the vernissage of the first event of 2023 will be held, with three solo exhibitions scheduled: Essenza donna by Anna Rita Mattei, 25 works in video display; Innesti by Mariella Stirpe, 12 works in the gallery; Roots by Gabriella Zedda, 25 works in video display.

The artists will be presented by Dr. Mamy Costa who describes them with these words: “Mariella Stirpe, artist from Palagonia (CT), whose pictorial production leads to a consistent informal descriptiveness which, developing with material grafts and reworkings, keeps the fundamentals intact through a philosophical inquiry into the problems linked to the actuality of the image. In the numerous mixed techniques present, a hypothetical universe is thus plumbed, reaching results of great peculiarity in some pages in which chromatic matter and sign descriptiveness appear wisely dosed within backgrounds that refer to warm and persuasive atmospheres. Instead the artistic expression of Anna Rita Mattei of Terracina (LT), follows important and technically valid guiding elements for the creation of works of undoubted expressive value. This synthesis was achieved through a personal training and cultural journey, a search for signs that quickly identifies the works and thus differentiates them from many others, both for the themes chosen and for the means used. A base of strong and contrasting chromatic tones, with a clear and defined visual impact, creates an ideal background on which her compositions materialize and develop.

Finally, observing the works of Gabriella Zedda, who lives in Quartu Sant’Elena (CA), leads to a reflection, to an analysis of the deep spirituality of the artist, aimed at an intimate world and the observation of the “person”, understood as defenseless humanity, fragile and exposed to daily emotions and problems. World observed with love and participation, taking charge of the melancholy and joys of others with deep affinity and emotional involvement. This leads to the observation and analysis of every aspect of life, from the visible to the intimate and hidden, hidden by modesty or reluctance, which the artist knows how to explore and reveal with art. Three female artists, three worlds to observe, study, focusing on different subjects and styles”.

The artists will be given the certificate of participation by the president of the Apat doctors Carmelo Briante.
A small buffet is provided for all participants. The exhibition can also be enjoyed online with videos on all social networks. Times: from 17 to 19, from Monday to Saturday.
