The dramatic work of Visual Art by Maria Rosaria Verrone introduces the painful theme, which highlights how often for women, liberation from “chains” is paid for with one’s life!
Simultaneously with an Art Exhibition and the collective city installation with the Pandora Association “Red Shoes: the value of Symbols”, the “WOUND” exhibition will be inaugurated on November 3 at 7 pm in the Town Hall in Via MA Alfani, the professor Rosaria Zizzo, with readings from her texts “Anima in Parole” and “Fogli e Foglia”.
“Leaves and Leaves”: in accumulating the word “leaves” from the root “Phio”, I breathe, because through the leaves the plants “breathe”, with chlorophyll photosynthesis, to the word “sheets”, with the same root, already the title tells us about the “breaths” transformed into poetry by Rosaria Zizzo! They are deep breaths of a soul in pain! He chooses to express himself without punctuation, without pauses! Already in 8OO Apollinaire expressed himself with poems without punctuation, then followed by others. They are not recited, they “breathe”! They are not words screamed for violence suffered, but laments, Elegies, expressed by a suffering soul, always misunderstood, since she was a child by her mother. It reveals that “WALL” of Sartriana memory that stands among humans, from which the most sensitive people suffer. That “wall” only for a short time, strong feelings, give us the illusion of breaking it down. It expresses a widespread human torment, not linked by violent, delinquent, prosecutable episodes, but which one can only live in existential solitude. Many of us can find ourselves in these elegies that reveal the human, philosophical, unsurpassable condition!
We will find the words of Zizzo, but addressed to social wounds, on 1 November in the same place and at the same time, through the recitation of four boys, Gerardo Iulia, Elena Tazlaoanu, Gerardo Bastardi and Francesca Rocco, in the Theatrical Performance from his text “Edizioni Ordinary “.
The piece is in fact introduced by the voice of newspaper sellers shouting “Ordinary Editions”, …….. unfortunately no longer extraordinary !!!
It is an engaging Pie’ce that recalls the Via D’Amelio massacre, a strong social complaint that becomes even more important because it is played by young people! You recall the tragic events of Camorra murders against members of the law, also highlighting the unremembered deaths of items in the stocks
You mention many victims with that form of Art, the Theater, which envelops everyone in the emotion that from the actor, professional or amateur, reaches the listener.
Also remembered the ten-year-old girl, Simnonetta Lamberti, killed by the Camorra by mistake! It can not be forgotten! The written and recited word is important not to forget, to teach young people about legality, the fight against violence, which can involve anyone as happened for Simonetta!
Congratulations to the Municipal Administration of Pontecagnano for this interesting program that will see various other initiatives that we will write about and will end on November 3rd, recalling the words of MLKing “What scares me is not the violence of the bad guys, it is the indifference of good ”
