Avatar: The Sense of Water hit theaters next December 16 after 13 years since the premiere of the original film, a true phenomenon in 2009. James Cameron, an established director in Hollywood, changed the rules of cinema by introducing a revolutionary technique such as 3D and a new universe science fiction for the one with big long term plans. Now, after the premiere of London that happened last night, it seems that the first reactions are incredibly positive. Many describe it as another jewel from the filmmaker responsible for titanic and one more sample of Cameron’s talent.

Avatar: The Sense of Water focuses on Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaa), now parents, and that they are forced to protect their family from a new threat to Pandora. The cast also includes Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and Kate Winsletfocusing on the oceans of the planet and offering us a new opportunity to see how the Na’vi fight against the military forces of the GDR. Guillermo del ToroOscar winner, wrote on Twitter that the sequel to Avatar it is “A staggering achievement. It’s packed with majestic shots and emotions on an epic, epic scale. It’s the show of a master at the peak of his power”he concluded.
As for the story, it’s A LOT of movie & I’m eager for a 2nd viewing to revisit some details, but on 1st watch, it’s a mighty effective exploration of community & family dynamics.
