R- Auuu, not at all my dear human, simply, with sadness I see that the hell is going to take us and we do nothing because in this beautiful Mexico of ours there are no leaders; There are rich, there are thieves, there are drug lords, there are politicians, there are pseudo-rulers, there are enlightened people, there are opportunists and freeloaders, and there are messiahs,… but there are no generous and visionary leaders to guide the Republic.
So that you understand me, my Santias, in my doggy opinion there is no path, there are no objectives, there is no long-term nationalist vision.
S- You touch sensitive fibers when you speak like that of the “enlightened” who lead national destinies, my Rufo.
R- Grrr, I don’t think they are “enlightened” or stupid, my Santias, I think they are corrupt and perverse. To excel in Mexican politics you can be shameless, cynical, a thief, a gangster, son of a…, asshole, corrupt, dishonest, insolent, brazen, obscene, a liar, a phony or filthy, but not stupid.
S- I accept without granting; but I cannot call someone who throws his life overboard in exchange for dishonestly obtained material goods as intelligent. I quote Matthew 16, 26: “What good is it for you to gain the world if in the end you lose your soul…”
R- Auuu, with you I don’t know whether to laugh or cry my Santias. Appealing to a vision that transcends life in this materialized world is naive!… Wow, so you understand me: not even Archbishop Norberto Rivera, in my opinion, believes that stuff about the afterlife; That is why he dedicates all his efforts to pass it on to every mother in this window, in addition to, in his spare time, protecting pedophile priests.

That is to say, while we Westerners are distracted by wars and worry about generating profits or living “to the fullest”, they are concerned about generating wealth and training their people through a nationalist mystique based on work and sacrifice.
S- I think I already got you, dog; While we Westerners see the savings represented by producing with cheap labor from China and we move our factories to China and Thailand, the Chinese are left with all the productive capacity of the world. In other words, while factories are being dismantled in the West, they are being built in China.
R- Wow, well, you already understood my Santias! In the medium term, Western pseudo-entrepreneurs (rather speculators) will make money with their patents and brands, until one day… the Chinese change the rules and we realize that they produce everything and that here there is neither production nor jobs , neither factories, nor infrastructure; which will allow them to set prices and control markets, that is, control the world.
S- You scare me Rufo. If it is as you say, what do we Mexicans have to do?
R- Auuu, one path could be to take advantage of the USA VS China trade lawsuit and bring the factories to Mexican soil; although, with the myopic leadership that we have, there is little to do and nothing to hope for; It is not enough for them to understand what Mexico needs.
S- So, what do you think is going to happen my Rufo?
R- Auuu, what is my prognosis, human? That the mess is going to take us, unless we worry about food safety, but; as long as we see the field with a short-term vision and based on profitability, we are lost. It is urgent to understand that food security is a matter of national security; For this we need patriotic and visionary leaders that I just don’t see; I only see opportunists and corrupt. And it is that to those who have sensitivity, generosity and commitment, I see them disoriented; They neither see nor understand what I am telling you and they bet that things will not get so bad; Well, his interest is short-term and is in politics and his career, not in serving Mexico, I know, with few honorable exceptions… It’s that simple!
