Diocese of Bourges: diocesan appointments

The diocese of Bourges has published its appointmentswhich take effect on September 1

Mr. Patrice LEMARÉCHAL, permanent deacon, diocesan bursar since May 2, 2012, was reappointed
in this ecclesiastical office for a period of five years, beginning on May 2, 2022 (canons 494, 186).

Deanery of Bourges
Father Michel FRANCO fc is appointed parish administrator of the parish of Saint-Jean, from September 1, 2022 and until August 31, 2023, with the agreement of his Religious Superiors Sons of Charity.

Father Jean-Marc PISSEVIN is appointed pastor of the parish of Saint-Germain in Saint-Germain-du Puy, from September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2028. He is relieved of his responsibilities concerning the pastoral care of health.

Father Benoît BASSÈNE is appointed parish vicar for the parish of Saint-Guillaume, as of
September 1, 2022 and until August 31, 2023, with the consent of Father Fulgence COLY, administrator
Diocesan of Ziguinchor (Senegal). He will reside at the Sainte-Barbe presbytery.

Father Jean-Pierre HOUILLON is appointed in the ministry of availability for the parish of Saint-Florent-sur-Cher, with the agreement of his ordinary HE Mgr Pascal DELANNOY bishop of Saint-Denis-en France. He lives in Saint-Florent-sur-Cher (presbytery).

Father Emmanuel AUDAT is appointed parish priest of Saint-Florent-sur-Cher, as of
September 1, 2022 and until August 31, 2028. He will reside in Bourges (26, rue Porte-Jaune). He retains his other functions, except the office of parochial vicar of the parish of Saint-Guillaume.

Deanery of Vierzon Sologne
Father Christian BAZÉBIMIATA is appointed pastor of the parishes of Mehun-sur-Yèvre and Notre-Dame des-Bruyères (Neuvy-sur-Barangeon) from September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2028.
He will reside in the presbytery of Mehun-sur-Yèvre.

Deanery of Val d’Aubois-Dunois
Father Vétéa BESSERT is appointed pastor of the parish of Sancergues, as of September 1
2022 and until August 31, 2024. He retains his position as a member of the Seminar Leadership Team
Interdiocesan of Orleans.

Father Narcisse NGUIMBI is appointed parish administrator of the parish of Sancoins, from September 1, 2022 and until August 31, 2023, with the agreement of his ordinary, HE Mgr Bienvenu MANAMIKA BAFOUAKOUAHOU Bishop of Dolisie (Congo) . He will reside in the presbytery of Sancoins.

Deanery Sauldre-Loire
Father Jean-Christophe CARPENTIER, parish priest of Notre-Dame de la Sauldre, Saint-Jacques Sainte-Montaine and Vailly-sur-Sauldre since September 1, 2016, is extended in this office
clergyman until August 31, 2025.

Canon Michel d’ALIGNY is appointed in the ministry of availability for the parishes of Sancerre and Léré, as of September 1, 2022. He resides at the Saint-Bonnet presbytery in Bourges.
Deanery of Val de Creuse

Father Hervé TONOU is appointed parish vicar for the parishes of Saint-Gaultier, Saint Roch
d’Eguzon-Orsennes and Saint-Sauveur d’Argenton-sur-Creuse, from 1 September 2022, with
with the consent of his Ordinary, HE Mgr Eugène Cyrille HOUDÉKON Bishop of Abomey (Benin). He will reside at
presbytery of Argenton-sur-Creuse.

Deanery Boischaut-Sud
Father Vincent BÉGUIN is appointed pastor of the parishes of La Châtre and Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre
from September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2025. He remains vicar forain (canon 555 –
“dean”) of the deanery of Boischaut-Sud. He lives in the presbytery of La Châtre.

Father Pierre-Célestin WAMBO msc is appointed pastor of the parishes of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre and
Aigurande-sur-Bouzanne, from September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2025, with the agreement of
his Religious Superiors Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Issoudun. He lives in the presbytery of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre.

Deanery Brenne-Touraine
Father Auguste BANDEIRA op is appointed parish vicar for the parishes of Mézières-en-Brenne,
Châtillon-sur-Indre and Buzançais, from September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2025, with
the agreement of his Dominican religious superiors. He will reside in the presbytery of Châtillon-sur-Indre.
Deanery of Châteauroux

Father Olivier BANGOURA is appointed parochial vicar for the parishes of the Saints-Apostles and the Resurrection of Châteauroux, from September 1, 2022 and until August 31, 2025, with the agreement of his ordinary, HE Mgr Vincent COULIBALY, Archbishop of Conakry.

Diocesan Pilgrimage Service
Father Jean-Christophe CARPENTIER has been appointed referent priest of the Diocesan Pilgrimage Service. He retains his other duties.

Priest on study mission
Father Loïc JAOUANET is sent on a study mission (spirituality) to the Catholic Institute of Angers from September 1, 2022. He retains his other functions, except the teaching load at the Interdiocesan Seminary of Orleans.

Sending on mission to another diocese in France
Father Alain KRAUTH is made available to the diocese of Nantes until August 31, 2025.

Father Olivier DEVAUX, priest of the diocese of Bourges, has been appointed spiritual animator of the “Life and breath in the world” pilgrimage by the Board of Directors of the “Life and breath in the world” association. », with the agreement of HE Mgr Jérôme BEAU, Archbishop of Bourges.

2/ Priest on a study mission

End of missions

Father Alfred TENDENG, priest of the diocese of Zinguinchor (Senegal) will return to his diocese in September.
We thank him for all he has brought to our diocese, especially in Sancerrois, Levroux and
in the deanery of Brenne-Touraine.

Mrs. Charlo!e BONNET is going to leave RCF-en-Berry.
