Leave the show, the world does not conspire against you

ANDThis is not a scolding but, as the saying goes, “whoever drops the glove, let him plant it.” That is to say, this text falls for those people who spend their time complaining about everything and everything.

What do they seek? Perhaps they cry out for compassion from others or, worse yet, invoke pity. They behave like beggars and go after an ‘attention crust’, if that’s what you can call it.

Do you know people like that? I’m talking about those characters who believe and argue that the entire universe is against them.

I can understand that people go through rough patches or, to some extent, face obstacles on their way to rise. But such setbacks do not mean that the world is crashing down on them.

Why are they dying? The only thing they achieve with such an attitude is to strengthen that bad vibe and build a giant wall that stops their dreams, that ruins their days and, in general, that makes their lives bitter.

Eye: the negative attitude is fatal. Many of the sufferings of these people are not caused by what others do or say to them, but by what they themselves do when comparing, criticizing and even lowering themselves.

Why do they exude so much annoyance?

Without reasonable confidence in their own abilities, human beings can never be purposeful or assertive. So, fill your memory with optimistic thoughts and memories.

And don’t give me the excuse that no matter how hard you try, you can’t do anything. Suddenly it is that these attempts have not been executed in the correct way; it is also probable that they have not put the due faith in it.

Those who persevere are the ones who achieve the ultimate victories. Believe it or not, those who are succeeding today were hit hard by waves of failure in the past.

Many people cause a negative impact by their wrong way of thinking. With these distortions they ruin their daily lives.

Do you know what the only difference is between those who win and those who remain defeated and daunted?

In that while the knocked out remain on the ground; those who win have enough courage to get up and keep fighting.

Perhaps the disappointments, no matter how unpleasant they may be, can become the blessings that the future will bring them.

Establish an internal dialogue. Be clear that there is no bad luck in what happens to you, because you make your own destiny. The key is to strengthen your self-esteem and change the complaint for action to start loving yourself, without the need to get the pity or approval of others.

Count the blessings you have received from God. For example: write at least five reasons why life is worth living. Take a look and you will see that your list will pass the threshold of 100 reasons.

Overcome sadness! She doesn’t stay crying because of her tripping. Get up and look straight ahead! If you have faith, nothing will be impossible for you.

TELL US YOUR CASE!

Concerns frequently assault our state of mind. However, with each question we have one more chance to face a new horizon, either by reasoning or applying healthy strategies for the soul. What are those fears that affect you today? Tell us about them to reflect on it. Send your testimony to Euclides Kilô Ardila at: eardila@vanguardia.com In this column, he himself will respond. Let’s look at today’s case:

Testimony: “I am one of those people with a low level of empathy; I would even say that it is ‘almost null’. I recognize that this way of being makes me different when it comes to relating and adapting to my environment, especially in the office. It is very difficult for me to understand my teammates and deal with them. I want to change, because I feel bored and misunderstood. What could I do? Please advise me.”

Answer: I like your sincerity, because the mere fact of admitting what is happening to you is already a first step; therefore, there is hope. Be careful: empathy is a basic skill that is part of emotional intelligence and favors interpersonal relationships.

I reiterate that it is a good sign that you are worried about overcoming that tiny degree of empathy, “almost zero”, according to you.

He’s already started his own therapy!

Being empathetic will help you put yourself in the other person’s shoes and will also allow you to recognize both your emotions and those of those around you and, therefore, adapt.

I suggest many tools to help you be empathic: listen to others, turn down your reason and turn up your intuition, be respectful, be kind and, of course, shake hands with those who need help.

However, the key is to understand and put yourself in the shoes of others. You know something? It is impossible to hate someone if you really understand them. Understand people!

We are all human with the same emotions and motivations; it is just a matter of leaving the other being. Remember: life has put us in different places and situations than others, but in the end we are all the same. Listen to me and tell me how it goes!

* The best things are not planned, they just happen. If certain circumstances must arise, they will occur anyway. Because what is destined for each person will always find a unique, magical and wonderful way to manifest itself.

* There are people who tell us: “I have nothing to offer you”; however, they give us moments of happiness, they make us smile, they give us peace, they help us cope with day to day life, in short… If you are next to women and men like this, never let them go.

* You are the only one in charge of your happiness. Stop giving others the power to control your smile, your courage, and your attitude. Choose to be strong, when you feel weak; be brave, when you are afraid; and be humble, when the honeys of success are accompanying you.
