After unveiling the pieces The One and popular, British-Sri Lankan singer-songwriter MIA releases a new extract from his next album, MATE, which does not yet have a release date. The very dancing title and carried by powerful percussions, entitled Beep, heralds a rhythmic disc with kaleidoscopic and moving sounds, in line with his previous opuses. The album was recorded between Bali, London, Italy, Jakarta, St. Vincent Island and Los Angeles. And we already know that the successor toAIM (published in 2016) will be marked by religion and spirituality. Indeed, the 47-year-old producer recently told Apple Music that she became a Christian after seeing a vision of Jesus. But the one who was inspired by the stories of refugees on her previous album should once again be very committed to societal issues here below.
