The first edition of «Strettule, the itineraries of Postiglionese taste» is scheduled from 16 to 18 December. Satisfaction from Mayor Carmine Cennamo. The idea of ​​the institution, in fact, is to enhance the immense heritage of the area, through the promotion of the villages of the South.

‹‹Making the food and wine, tourism and entrepreneurial excellence of Postiglione and the Alburni Dolomites known throughout the world, transforming the village into an opportunity for economic and social development››– these are the words of the mayor. The event was born from the synergy between the municipal administration, together with the parish, the Youth Forum and local entrepreneurs.

But what does the term «Strettule» mean?

strettule, Postiglionese dialectal name with which the alleys of the ancient village are defined, is a three-day event dedicated to food and wine, folklore and spirituality, which will take place from 16 to 18 December 2022 in the historic center of Postiglione.

Location of the event, will be the suggestive village of the historic center of Postiglione revived with a journey of flavors, ancient traditions, colors and music, which will enhance the EVO oil and the typical food and wine products of Postiglione, without neglecting the history and spirituality of the alburnino people .

A weekend full of events food and wine and cultural, dedicated to the protection of the territory, healthiness with the exaltation of tasty and ancient typical dishes places made with foods that represent the intangible heritage of the Mediterranean Diet and moments of fun.

To kick off the event, on Friday 16 December at 18, the conference to be held in the hall of the parish oratory “Maria SS del Carmelo” in Postiglione, entitled Extra virgin olive oil and typical local products, nutrition and health in the countries of the Mediterranean diet.
