EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO.- Pastors Teófilo Alcántara and José Aníbal Martínez, members of the organizing committee of the III International Summit on Governance and Spirituality, stated that this international event is a response to the needs that Dominican society would have today, which would be suffering a great crisis of values.

“We are experiencing such a great crisis in terms of values, there is an attack against the family and this attack has a lot to do with the lack of knowledge of God on the part of those who have the power to direct nations, direct institutions that are relevant in society,” said Alcántara.

The organizers of the event were interviewed by the communicators Mariano Abreu, Edward Ramírez and Doclar Castillo, in the program “Enfrentados”, broadcast by the digital platform El Nuevo Diario TV and the television spaces Sí TV, Ruta 66, Latina TV in the Eastern region and in the United States, Festiva TV.

Pastor Alcántara assured that Dominican society needs a change, and on December 9 and 10, in the Aula Magna of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) they will drop wise words in the hearts of those who are thirsty for change. in a “violent and crisis” moment.

He pointed out that the worst enemy of poverty is not the pandemic, but poor governance and the mistrust that this has generated for years in Dominican society and in all of Latin America.

The pastors Teófilo Alcántara and José Aníbal Martínez together with the communicators Mariano Abreu, Edward Ramírez and Doclar Castillo.

“The Bible is our manual because when mane is more spiritual, has greater sensitivity, greater justice and will therefore have better governance, and for this reason we are calling on the Dominican people to attend the Aula Magna on December 9 and 10, to share and receive this knowledge from men and women of God,” he said.

For his part, Pastor Martínez stressed that the event will have a group of exhibitors who are in accordance with the motto of the summit, “balance time”, because it seeks to find a balance between governance, spirituality and society.

“We are seeing what is happening in the Dominican Republic and in the world, it is an international summit, we are experiencing corruption, poverty, disease, right and wrong decisions on the part of those who lead us and 90% of these things that happen are due to that man has not given space to spiritual principles, and it is precisely in search of that balance”, he said.

He expressed that in the list of exhibitors there are academics, pastors, health experts and other areas that will be addressing various topics so that those who attend the summit can leave with a clear picture of what is really needed in this nation to be transformed and establish that balance of which they speak.
