Wednesday 10 August, 9.30 pm The great musical returns to Versiliana. on stage “Forza Come Gente” centered on the figure of St. Francis of Assisi

Marina di Pietrasanta (Lu) _ A musical show that boasts record numbers for spectators and reruns, all proudly Italian, in a new version on the occasion of its fortieth anniversary. The musical that will be staged is “Forza Come Gente” Wednesday 10 August at 9.30 pm at the theater of Versiliana under the 43rd edition of the Festival, promoted and organized by the Versiliana Foundation with the artistic consultancy of Massimo Martini. Written by Mario and Piero Castellacci with the collaboration of Renato Biagioli and Pietro Palumbo directed by Ariele Vincenti, Come on People, it is faithful to the original in plot and content, in dramaturgical development and musical scores, but profoundly renewed in technology and in the quality of the staging.

A musical anchored to the majesty of a figure, that of St. Francis, who in the world is an icon of apostolic culture and an emblem of Catholic spirituality.

On stage on the Versiliana stage will be 20, including actors, singers and dancers, who on the music of Michele Paulicelli, Giampaolo Belardinelli, Giancarlo de Matteis they will accompany us on this musical journey to tell one of the most important figures of Christianity.

A journey in some aspects mystical and spiritual, in others, of elegant entertainment and overwhelming sympathy.

There plot, centered on the figure of the patron saint of Italy, enhances the values and emotions of everyday life, but dedicates interesting moments and intense reflections on the relationship between fathers and children, often contaminated by different expectations and distant values. In this particular case, a crude and materialistic Trader cannot understand the higher and transcendent goals of the Son.

The show offers two different levels of interpretation: on the one hand, the representation of a documented truth, the description of a context within which the figure of St. Francis of Assisi moves, and on the other, the relationship between fathers and sons. , which does not need historical references, because it is part of the history of humanity, of all generations and all eras.

In the cast: Mauro Mandolini (Pietro di Bernardone); Stefano di Lauro (Friar Francesco); Giulia Gallone (The Cenciosa); Giulia Cecchini (Santa Chiara); Benedetta Iardella (Poverty); Massimiliano Elia (The Devil); Simone Cravero (The Wolf); The soloists: Michele Balzano, Giovanni Boschini, Luca Capomaggi, Gioia Chiarini, Virginia Comazzetto, Christian Corsi, Andrea Gioia, Federica Milani, Greta Rodorigo, Martina Salvucci, Ciali Married, Veronica Zanin.

Music Director: Fabrizio Barbacci
