The art that gives the hand to art. It is an emotional and rational path to “Contemporary prece”The dance performance born to be represented in the alternative spaces to the theater.
Eleven representations think for the Umbria museum circuit – the same and always different – culminating in the National Museum of the Duchy in Rocca Albornoziana of Spoletoin which the container has enhanced the content and vice versa.
An initiative that also anticipated World Tourism Day wellon 27 September, making us reflect on how much the artistic heritage of which, fortunately, Italy is rich can be experienced and offered in an alternative way.
Visitorstogether with entrance ticketthey had the opportunity to enjoy, among the most diverse static artistic testimonies, the “dynamic story” of a glimpse of life.
“Contemporary prece “, underlines Sara Marinelli who conceived the performance and supervised the direction and the screenplay is one “lay prayerwhich comes from the personal experience of a rediscovered spirituality “one vision become a common denominator for many.
Was so on the production frontwhy the director and screenwriter – professional from the world of dance to take care of courses at the highest levels throughout Italy – involved in the realization of the performance the Maestro Andrea Rellini who composed and performed the music and theactor Claudio Massimo Paternò, author of the texts performed on stage and translated into sign language from Claudia Guarinoalso part of the performance.
Everyone has put the emotions deriving from one’s own experience in the drafting of the playturned out to be a choral work.
The project, supported with institutional funds for the enhancement of the live show, it has thus achieved the further objective of thrilling first and foremost those who proposed it, together with those who have benefited from it.
From representation to representation the public, amazed by the originality of the proposal, was excitedWhy in the movements of the dancersperformed in pairs, but interchangeable on different dates – Eleonora Cantarini, Michele Umberto Fuso, Marina Santucci, Margherita Verbeni, Donata Marcelli, Francesca Celesti – he read part of himselfaided by the play of shadows, lights and colors of the light designer Massimiliano Monsù.
Everyone carries with them the fatigue of living, the fear of not making it, of feeling out of the world while being part of it; you face painful experiences, you injure your feet along the way …
However, and it is the shot that makes “Contemporary prece“A very sad sight, there is the awareness, written in the genetic code, of not being alone, of being able to share one’s life with that of others.
Simply put on a pair of shoesarmor and get wet by the water – symbolically collected in the zinc basin, also an interpreter and not a scenographic element – which is sweat, tears, amniotic fluid of birth and rebirth.
Because, in the end, even on the most difficult day “It all ends, it ends …“ casually resuming in Spoleto the writing left on one of the walls of the Rocca Albornoziana museum, once a place of punishment for a population of prisoners who imprinted moments of themselves on the walls.
Obviously, every space that hosted the performance symbolically gave it a meaning.
Sara Marinelli’s project does not end here. There are others, submitted to the scrutiny of the institutions, since to produce shows you need producers (and the timing of the calls for the granting of funding are difficult to estimate) while waiting to be able to flourish… on the wave of music and dance, professionalism and culture.
