“The Covid-19 pandemic was a chance for me,” says Rute Baio. In a few years, the Eschoise has experienced a few ups and downs. A depression that required hospitalization in 2017, the birth of her first child in 2020, her dismissal and finally, the launch of her business, an online store specializing in spiritual and well-being products.

“My hospitalization made me realize that life is short. You have to live your dreams and have the courage to take the plunge,” says Rute, a few months after launching his e-commerce site, Spiritual Mindset. His recovery, based on meditation, relaxation and hypnosis, opened his eyes: “Why not market the products of my daily life?” she wondered.

Although fascinated by spirituality, nothing predestined her to embark on the entrepreneurial adventure, until her dismissal from a post of medical secretary. During her first appointment at ADEM, she seized the opportunity to train. “I was starting from zero. I knew absolutely nothing about it and I didn’t know where to turn,” she recalls. She educates herself and gets training.

“More and more people are interested in spirituality and well-being”

A few months later, she published her e-commerce site and set up her business in the Pop-up Esch, an ephemeral store concept in the pedestrian street, a stone’s throw from her home. She sells incense, candles, books, and seduces both an initiated and a novice clientele. “More and more people are interested in spirituality and well-being,” she notes.

The next step? Holistic therapy, in which she is training, to treat stress, sleep disorders, back pain, migraines, etc. “I would like to open my permanent physical store, sell these wellness products and offer my care,” she adds. The choice of the heart… and of the mind.
