1. FAI Autumn Days 2022 – In this edition of the Autumn Days, FAI Catania wants to pay homage to the beauties through a historical itinerary that crosses the centuries and seasons of the city.
2. Ficodindia dell’Etna PDO Festival – After two years of forced stop due to the limitations due to the Covid Pandemic, the “Ficodindia dell’Etna PDO Festival” returns to Belpasso, scheduled at the municipal villa, from 14 to October 16.
3. The rooms in bloom – A sensory journey between art and spirituality – On the occasion of the Le Vie dei Tesori Festival, Sicily Gaia organizes an unprecedented visit dedicated to one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy “The rooms in bloom”: the garden of rebirth – as defined by the author Rossella Pezzino de Geronimo. The appointments of 15 and 16 October have been canceled. The next appointments are scheduled for 22-23-29-30 October.
4. Villa Di Bella – Between agricultural traditions and famous films – Sicily Gaia on the occasion of the Le Vie dei Tesori Festival, opens the doors of Villa Di Bella. Built in the nineteenth century by Prince Manganelli, it has belonged to the Di Bella family since 1922. Several times chosen as a film set for Storia di una Blackcap (Franco Zeffirelli in 1994) and Malizia 2000 (Salvatore Samperi in 1991).
5. Autumn Festival 2022 – Let’s celebrate autumn together with two days full of events including music, crafts and entertainment, inside and outside Piazza Scammacca. Appointment on 15 and 16 October 2022 starting at 16.00.

Relais San Giuliano – Charming historic residence at the foot of the Volcano – Sicily Gaia on the occasion of the Le Vie dei Tesori Festival organizes an unprecedented visit to a charming and little-known residence. Relais San Giuliano preserves a fascinating history, a place where nature and culture converge in a timeless emotion.
7. The time of the cave of Acqua Vitale – A wonderful lava flow tunnel awaits us in the territory of Zafferana Etnea in Contrada Cassone in the locality of “Acqua Vitale”. This is one of the many caves generated during the eruption of 1792 and discovered after the war following the excavations for the construction of the provincial road 92.
8. Presentation of the book “The labyrinth of the mists” – Friday 14 October, at 7.30 pm, at the Prampolini Bookstore (Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 333 – Catania) Matteo Cavezzali presents “The labyrinth of the mists” (Mondadori). Antonella Insabella spoke.

10. Trecastagni – Lava art, music, cinema, literature and traditions – Sicily Gaia on the occasion of the Festival “Le Vie dei Tesori” organizes a cultural walk dedicated to Trecastagni. The beauty of an ancient village of Etna located at 586 meters above sea level whose name is dedicated to the three chaste Agnelli, Alfio, Filadelfo and Cirino (Tres Casti Agni) passed in the third century AD, blends between naturalistic stories and basaltic streets that have bewitched the world of music, cinema and literature.
11. ‘I run for them’ at CUS Catania – Sunday 16 October 2022, starting at 10.00, appointment at CUS CATANIA (University City) with the event ‘I run for them’. 12. Exhibition “Dialogues in the gallery of Marco Grimaldi and Gianluca Patti” – Catania Art Gallery chooses, for the programming of its new exhibition season, to continue following the positive traces of that experience by proposing a new dialogue-confrontation in its spaces in Catania between two protagonists of the contemporary scene. The artists involved in the first appointment entitled Dialogues in the gallery are Marco Grimaldi (Udine, 1967) and Gianluca Patti (Monza, 1977) who interpret the rhythm of an intense and powerful chromatic abstraction according to two different visions, albeit close and close.

Located in the center of the city, behind the Duomo and Piazza dell’Elefante, in Piazza Scammacca stood the Church of Maria SS. Del Rosario annexed to the convent of Santa Caterina da Siena of the Dominican fathers.
