From 1st to 24th December the editorial staff of Nexo+ will choose and offer its viewers a title a day to mark the approaching holidays. From great Christmas concerts, to ballet classics, from themed comedies to animation, up to Jesus Christ Superstar, naturally passing through the documentary by Lyndy Saville, CineMania – Christmas Movies, in which five film critics and writers meet to select their favorite Christmas movies of all time.
Positivity
A car trip to the sea between four strangers, all under 40, all HIV+, to discover their lives and tell with uncovered face and heart what it means to have HIV today, in an age in which it is possible to live with the virus and lead normal lives but which still sees infected people as victims of a huge social stigma. This is the content of “Positivə”, the documentary that turns the spotlight on a new generation of HIV+ people who no longer want to hide.

Nomad – Traveling with Bruce Chatwin
Now close to death, writer Bruce Chatwin asked his friend Herzog to see his recent film on the nomadic Wodaabe tribe. In return Chatwin gave Herzog the backpack that he had carried around the world with him. With this backpack, thirty years later, Herzog embarks on a journey inspired by their shared passion for the nomadic life. Rock Legends – The Doors
Jim Morrison, the Lizard King, is still today an icon that has easily crossed generations and continents. Behind him, Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger and John Densmore formed a trio with an unmistakable sound. The debut album was released in 1966 with the same name as the group, “The Doors”, and already contained rock milestones such as Light My Fire, Break On Through and The End. Wild Nights with Emily Dickinson
Emily Dickinson was a prolific author, in love with and reciprocated by her sister-in-law Susan, but commonly described as sentimentally cold and withdrawn at home. The film is based on her private letters recently published by Einaudi and is a bold and irreverent description of the poet’s life, struggling with a literary world dominated by men and patriarchy.
Women move mountains
World Mountain Day, established by the United Nations in 2002, is celebrated on 11 December. An opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of mountains for the health of the planet and for the well-being of those who live there. This year’s beautiful theme is “Women move mountains”. In fact, they are the ones who play a key role in environmental protection and in the social and economic development of mountain areas. Often the first managers of mountain resources, custodians of biodiversity, custodians of traditional knowledge, custodians of local culture and experts in traditional medicine, women (also in this case) make the difference. This month Nexo+ is dedicating a special playlist to them and their relationship with nature. A story of love and desire
Ahmed, 18, a Frenchman of Algerian origin, grew up in the suburbs of Paris. On the benches of the university he meets Farah, a young Tunisian full of energy who has just arrived in Paris. Peng and the two ducklings
Winter is upon us. The swashbuckling Peng misses his flock’s southward departure and sustains an injury that prevents him from flying.
