Dragon Ball: 10 Goku Villains Actually Killed | Pretty Reel

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will soon be returning with a free next-gen update followed soon after by a new season pass for the game that will begin with DLC focusing on Bardock, Goku’s father. Fans can expect to play as Bardock in January 2023.

Kakarot bringing more DLC is the perfect time for players to play with some of their favorite Dragon Ball characters, like Goku. Goku is the franchise’s main protagonist and has had some epic battles. In some he spared his enemies after a long fight, but in others he finished them off brutally.

Goku battles each of the shadow dragons and spares none

Shadow dragons were some of the most formidable enemies Goku faced in Dragon Ball GT. They were a relatively mixed bag, but most of them had a very antagonistic and mean outlook towards Goku and Earth. Because of this, and the need to defeat them for the good of Earth, Goku didn’t bother to spare any of their lives.

The only character he might be afraid to kill was Nuova Shenron, who seemed very different from the others. Goku’s greatest struggle was against Omega Shenron, the form Syn Shenron assumed when he absorbed the powers of all seven Dragon Balls. This adversary had only been defeated with a Spirit Bomb retrieved from the universe.

Goku saves Tien and kills the drum with one blow

It can be easy to overlook a villain who hasn’t been around for very long. Drum was one of King Piccolo’s egg-born minions. It was much more powerful than the previous ones and gave Tien Shinhan a tough fight. The drum, however, was a perfect way to display Goku’s previous powers. Just before in the recent arc, Goku was tied with Tien.

Now Goku was able to kill an opponent who defeated him with a single blow. Not only did this showcase Goku’s new powers, but it also showed how cold and brutal Goku was. Goku’s thirst for revenge had spread from Tambourine to King Piccolo and all of his minions. Goku knew what Drum was capable of and didn’t think to spare his life.

Goku finally defeats the Red Ribbon Army by killing Staff Officer Black

It’s claimed that Goku didn’t spare many soldiers when he broke into the Red Ribbon Army’s base and the last permanent leader, Staff Officer Black, didn’t. exception to this. Black suffered a fierce battle with Goku, but it wasn’t enough to take on the Saiyan. Goku never really gave Black a chance to surrender, and that’s probably because he viewed the Red Ribbon Army as pure evil.

He saw what the mercenary Tao had been capable of who was in their employ when he mercilessly killed Bora. Their fight ended when Goku sent Black’s own missile back at him, destroying his battle jacket and him with it.

Goku reveals his Super Saiyan 2 form and forces Yakon to explode

Goku’s kill count in Dragon Ball Z is extremely low, but Yakon is one of the few beings he kills. Usually, when fans see Goku fighting minions in the series like Nappa or the Ginyu Force, he easily handles them, however, he usually gives them a chance to surrender. Yakon was not so lucky. Goku saw his strength in absorbing light and also saw that it was a weakness for Yakon as well.

He took the opportunity to force Yakon to suck the energy from Goku’s Super Saiyan 2 aura and eventually blew it up, killing himself. When Goku sees the lives of others taken, he takes his battles a little more seriously. He saw what Dabura had done, another minion of Babidi, when he murdered Kibito and turned Piccolo and Krillin to stone. He knew that the fight against Yakon would only end if he was killed, so he did what he felt was necessary.

Goku overwhelms Moro and saves the universe

The whole fight against Moro in Dragon Ball Super went on for a long time, especially at the end when Moro merged with Earth, creating one of the strongest non-Saiyan transformations seen in Dragon Ball. In the end, however, Goku prevailed thanks to his Ultra Instinct form and the energy he borrowed from Uub to allow him to reuse the form and the massive Divine Battle Avatar Ki Giant needed to fight Moro. as it merged with Earth.

Moro had threatened to destroy the entire universe and if Goku had lost the fight, he would have done it. Like many villains, Moro doesn’t have a shred of good in him and there was no way to stop Moro unless he was killed. It’s not much different from when Cell tried to blow up Earth and Goku teleported him to King Kai’s world. This time Goku had a way to stop Moro without dying himself.

Goku avenges Krillin by erasing the tambourine

Krillin’s death had been one of the worst moments in Goku’s life. He put aside all reason and was willing to do whatever it took to get revenge and kill Tambourine. While his first encounter with Tambourine defeated Goku easily, he later came back much stronger and full of energy.

He effortlessly fended off Tambourine and mercilessly killed him as he obliterated him with one of Goku’s best techniques in Dragon Ball, his Kamehameha. This is a day and night comparison to Goku’s battle with Frieza which also killed Krillin but which Goku was willing to spare.

After a long battle, Goku sends baby to the sun with his Kamehameha

Baby was the first enemy to push Goku to his limits in Dragon Ball GT. Unfortunately, in a child’s body, Goku couldn’t use his full power well and was unable to keep up with Baby Vegeta even before he reached the peak of his power.

Luckily, he then unlocked Super Saiyan 4 and gave fans an amazing battle as he took on the warrior Tuffle. By the end of the Saga, Baby had removed himself from Vegeta’s body and planned to return for revenge. Goku knew Baby wasn’t going to stop anytime soon and he had no choice but to kill Baby to stop him for good.

Goku corrects his mistake and kills Frieza

While Goku is infamous for sparing Frieza’s life and giving the Emperor opportunity after opportunity, there was a time when Goku actually killed Frieza. It was of course in one of the best Dragon Ball movies, Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’, as well as the Dragon Ball Super anime.

Goku sees the error of his ways after Frieza destroys Earth and luckily Whis gives him a second chance to fix this and sends them back in time. Goku then explodes forward and kills Frieza without hesitation knowing it was the only way to save Earth.

Goku finally avenged his friends by killing King Piccolo

One of Goku’s best fights in Dragon Ball was against King Piccolo. As with all of his fights in the King Piccolo arc, Goku never intended to spare his opponent. This fight was all or nothing and a battle to the death.

Goku felt that he hadn’t truly avenged Krillin upon learning of Piccolo’s existence and felt the desperate need to kill Piccolo even more after Goku learned that he had also killed Roshi. The fight was close, with King Piccolo brutally injuring Goku. However, the final blow and Goku’s full power was enough and finally he felt that his revenge had been fulfilled.

Majin Buu was killed but reincarnated as Uub

Majin Buu is another of the few characters that Goku killed off in Dragon Ball Z. As Majin Buu gradually changed throughout the series, he became much less reasonable. The last incarnation, Kid Buu, was completely unhinged and ended up requiring a Spirit Bomb to defeat.

As Goku defeated Kid Buu without a second thought, he couldn’t help but want to keep Buu and fight him again. So, instead of sparing his life, he asked King Yemma to reincarnate Buu as a Pure Soul. A wish, which had been granted.
