THE ARTIST IS RECOGNIZED THE VALUE OF THE FUSION BETWEEN HIS MUSIC AND HIS SCIENTIFIC-SPIRITUAL STUDIES
The award is conceived and promoted by Giuseppina Fragale, President of the Pro Loco of Gizzeria. This reality has as its purpose the promotion of the values, intelligence and excellence of the land of Calabria and from this year it will also make use of the recognition of the Presidency of the Regional Council. The award, sponsored by the regional and national Unpli and by the Municipality of Gizzeria, has reached its IX Edition, and will be held on 3 September 2022 at 9 pm in the splendid setting of the Torre gardens – Torre dei Cavalieri, Gizzeria (CZ).
WE KNOW ANTEA BETTER
Antea is a Calabrian singer-songwriter and pianist. From the age of 3 she began to externalize the need to express herself with singing and music, so that her mother, artist and keen observer, began studying the piano at the age of seven. From the age of nine we see her in numerous important experiences, from Puccini’s Turandot at the Alfonso Rendano Theater (CS), to her concert as a twelfth-century songwriter for Jammin ‘at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. You move into the world of the Musical in a show written and directed by Vittorio Matteucci; she boasts collaborations and live shows in the most important clubs in Rome and relevant opening concerts (Jean Michael Byron ex TOTO), television appearances including “the Door of dreams” on RAI1 conducted by Mara Venier with Maria Grazia Fontana’s STA & B .
Recently, he took part in the trailer for the movie “Thor, Love and Thunder” in the choreography and orchestra, as a keyboard player, at the archaeological site of Ostia Antica (RM).
FROM GRADUATION TO QUANTUM PHYSICS
In February 2021, at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, he graduated in Singing and Composition with a grade of 110 cum laude with an experimental and innovative thesis.
In fact, from the idea of sound, from the age of 13, he became interested in the study of quantum physics and biology, which also became an essential part of his creative path between art and science.
For this reason he writes a solo piece recorded at 432 Hz in order to conduct research in collaboration with a laboratory on certain plants, to monitor their effects. Speaking of this, again through the study of sound and its effects on biology, human and otherwise, his first book on his research on nature and its
matrix.
“YOU’RE THE LIGHT (OF THE WORLD)”
The eclectic artist brings his vision to the public in the new single “You’re the Light (of the World)”, released on 7 May 2021, followed by the official video, shot entirely in the magical natural setting of the Sitano Plateau (CS) , released on June 18, 2022 on all digital platforms.
The passage was born as an exhortation to look within, to reunite with the light that has always been and will always be within us: a real spiritual “rebellion”.
From a stylistic point of view, we are faced with a power ballad that navigates between the soul soul of the artist and the rock energy that distinguishes it. Antea wrote this song at the age of 17. The power of music and images is able to strike the listener and take him by the hand, so as to bring him into the vision of the world of the singer-songwriter.
