Tourism promotion: funding for the Municipality of Madesimo

Published in Burl, the Official Bulletin of the Lombardy Region, the results of the seventh investigation relating to the first window of the call for ‘Everyday in Lombardy’. 14 projects are admitted, for a contribution of 270,375 euros. The measure, with an evaluation window, has a total financial endowment of 4 million euros for the two-year period 2022-23.

Therefore, the success of ‘Everyday in Lombardy’ continues, with the aim of encouraging the development of tourism promotion strategies at a local level, enhancing the knowledge of territorial excellence. The first window of the call closed on 15 September (dedicated to events organized by 31 December 2022). The measure will reopen with a second window from 15 November 2022 to 15 September 2023 for the events that will take place in 2023. To date, the projects financed by the call are as many as 105.

“The promotion of territories and the enhancement of local excellence – explains the regional councilor for tourism, territorial marketing and fashion, Lara Magoni – is one of the main objectives of my department. In this sense, I am really happy to verify that institutions, local, economic operators and territorial associations have understood the importance of the regional tender. Lombardy is a unique land, with extraordinary beauties: the synergistic commitment and collaboration between the various actors involved is the winning weapon to increase the attractiveness of the whole region “.

Projects admitted

Public entities, private entities in a non-entrepreneurial form and subjects in an entrepreneurial form can apply for the call.

The projects must propose events and initiatives of an attractive-tourist character of the Lombard destinations to be carried out in Italy and / or abroad.

Here are the funded projects divided by province, with an indication of the applicant and the amount granted.

SONDRIO

– ‘Madesimo: the authentic charm of the winter mountains’; Applicant: Madesimo Tourist Consortium. Contribution granted: € 24,589.20;

BERGAMO

– ‘Bergamo Foliage 2022’; applicant: Pro loco Bergamo. Contribution granted: 26,267.98 euros;

– ‘Albino, in the footsteps of Moroni’; applicant: Municipality of Albino. Contribution granted: 30,000 euros;

– ’64 ª Grape and Agriculture Festival. Palio delle Contrade ‘; applicant: Pro loco Trescore / Infopoint Valcavallina. Contribution granted: € 20,776;

– ‘Culturally Cure Festival’; applicant: Municipality of Covo. Contribution granted: 10,633 euros;

– ‘Between villages and flavors: the time of the countryside’; applicant: Pro loco Rovetta. Contribution granted: 14,000 euros;

– ‘Valcavallina: between innovation and sustainability’; applicant: Consorzio Servizi Valcavallina. Contribution granted: 30,000 euros;

– ‘Sarnico magic Christmas’; applicant: Pro loco Sarnico. Contribution granted: 30,000 euros.

BRESCIA

– ‘Christmas Village 2022’; applicant: Municipality of Pozzolengo. Contribution granted: 10,500 euros;

CREMONA

– ‘Mustard Festival 8.0: Mustard itineraries’; applicant: Chamber of Commerce of Cremona. Contribution granted: € 17,548.30.

MILAN

– ‘394th Festival of Baggio 2022’; applicant: Municipality of Milan. Contribution granted: 9,800 euros.

PAVIA

– ‘The lost arts, the professions of the future’; applicant: Municipality of Vigevano. Contribution granted: 12,600 euros.

– ‘Vinuva 2022’; applicant: Municipality of Stradella. Contribution granted: € 9,650.90.

VARESE

– ‘The Sacred Valley: spirituality itineraries in the Veddasca Valley’; applicant: Pro loco Maccagno. Contribution granted: 24,010 euros.
