The traveling exhibition “The poetic walks”, conceived and promoted by the Exotique association of San Felice Circeo, continues in the work of rediscovery and enhancement of the territories by relying on music and the performing arts and is increasingly configured as an opportunity for primordial reconnection – always more necessary nowadays – with nature and with the planet, as well as representing a further opportunity for reconnection on the territory of the ties between neighboring municipalities and communities.

Path
From Saturday 15th October until Sunday 30th October the Walkers will be able to return to the Ernici Mountains and explore the heart of Ciociaria. It starts, therefore, the day after tomorrow, with Alatri and Veroli. From the Megalithic Walls of Alatri with the concert Il Cammino dei Giusti – spiritual and musical pilgrimages of the Prima Prattica vocal ensemble to the abbey of San Sebastiano, on the border between Alatri and Veroli along the Way of San Benedetto which connects San Sebastiano to the monastery of Sant ‘ Erasmus, home for the night for Walkers who want to stay for the entire weekend).

The following day continues with an integral immersion in nature along the ancient shepherds’ road that leads to the Collepardo Caves (Sunday 16, with the solo piano concert by Alessandro Deledda in the woods adjacent to the monastery of San Nicola in Civita). The following week is the turn of the Pastena Caves (Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd, with Visioni Liquide, two unpublished video installations created specifically by Massimo Zomparelli for the two different paths that lead from the territory of Pastena to the caves). At the end of the month it is the turn of Anagni, city of the Popes and of medieval ritualism (Saturday 29, with the concert of the Apeiron Sax) and of the chestnut groves surrounding Fiuggi (Sunday 30 October, with a new meeting with Gea, the Earth, and the collective noMade for a theater performance in nature among the chestnut woods on the hills that embrace the town).

All places have always been linked to spirituality and the “world above” through different periods and historical contexts. Starting next weekend from the Acropolis of Alatri, which with its imposing Megalithic Walls perfectly preserved is the symbol par excellence of the “megalithic cities” of Lazio to which mysteries and legends have always been linked; from the monastery of Sant’Erasmo, built in the 16th century on the spur of rock that dominates the historic center of Veroli; from the proto-monastery of San Sebastiano on the slopes of Monte Pizzuto; from the majesty of the Collepardo caves and the remains of the monastery of San Nicola in the Civita hamlet.
The poetic walks respect all the precautions for the protection of public health to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Places are limited and reservations are required.
