How to transform your free or dead time into something productive

There are many ways to make our free time productive but you have to plan it. This time will only be useful if we think how we can use it. The only person who can turn our free time into something productive is ourselves. Take a walk, read a book, talk to an old friend… write a list of those things you would like to do and try to include them in those free hours.

Separate it from unnecessary stressors. This time has a very clear purpose: to refresh and improve our energy, creativity and sense of self. That is why we must move away from those “useful” mundane activities – answering emails, advancing tasks, watching television – that do not offer us any gain for our free time and make it blur with work time.

Extend our comfort zone. A good way to use our free time is to discover new things that expand our comfort zone and help us grow personally.

Modify the use of the media. Leaving the television, the tablet or especially the cell phone and social networks out of our free time and thinking of creative ways to use the media will make our free time busy with useful activities to spread what we want to share with the world. Making a video for YouTube explaining something that interests us, writing a poem, composing songs… are just some of the ways to spend your free time productively.

Make us volunteer. If we have enough free time we can share it with people who need it. This will make us acquire new knowledge, expand our experience and feel fulfilled while helping those who really need it.

Learn for pleasure. The continuous training that many of us follow is often focused on guiding us to obtain greater profits from work, but there is also the option of learning for simple pleasure. Using our time to learn those things that we have always wanted to learn but that we have always been putting off doing other tasks is another way of investing our free time.

Enjoy our hobby or pastime. Getting involved in a hobby or hobby is useful because it gives us the opportunity to expand our knowledge, improve skills and stay focused and brain active as well as enjoy ourselves.

Concentrate on our spirituality. Our free time is ideal for everything that is spiritual because we get space to develop, reflect and think about what is really important. There are many ways to learn and know our spiritual ā€œIā€.

Disconnect from work. When we enjoy free time we have to forget about work, for that it is important that the tasks are done, closed or we have informed our office colleagues “what to do in case of…”. It is also important to take advantage of our free time with the peace of mind that there will be no setbacks and that we will continue to receive emails, etc. For greater peace of mind and to be certain that this will be the case, there is software validated by users that helps us “enjoy free time”.
