Who else has jet lag? After a second season of The White Lotus full of twists (and shocking answers to the question of who dies) another edition of the anthology series of Mike White is on the move. After just three episodes of the final season, HBO confirmed that the series “will return for a third installment following a new cast of guests at another White Lotus property.” What do we really know about the next episode? credit?And will guests venture beyond the resort to eat?

The second season of the series introduced viewers to a number of new characters, played by Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, Michael Imperioli, Will Sharpe, Beatrice Grannò, Haley Lu Richardson, Adam DiMarco, and many others, concerning men. Besides Jennifer CoolidgeOf course, he was returning from the first season.
A familiar face that could pack for the third season is Connie Britton, who played the powerful Nicole in the first season, said she was originally supposed to return for the second season: “Mike wanted me to be in the second season, and there was an idea that I loved for the character,” he told Deadline. “Our intention is to do it in the third season. A part of the casting did not work out in the second season and we hope [hacerlo] in the third. I would love to see a spin-off of every character in that series.”

In the post-finale interview, White dropped a hint about it, calling the third season “a funny, satirical look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.”
Speaking of discarded ideas… White told Entertainment Weekly that he originally focused the second season on politics and power, rather than sex and relationships. “The Sicilian type of mythology, at least from the point of view of Americans, is the archetype of sexual politics and role-playing that is associated with opera, the mafia and Italian romance,” he explained. “I felt like it needed to be more about men and women and relationships and adultery and have an operatic feel to it, so I changed course.” Even so, the writer-director maintains that he could still carry out the initial idea of it “later on maybe, if we get a third season.”
As for where White and company will be relocating, he’s planning a continental move. as he told her to Deadline earlier this year: “You know, we did Europe, and maybe Asia, something crazy like that, that would be fun.”

There’s no arrival date yet, but since creator Mike White only finished editing the second season “10 days ago,” it may take a while. “I need to recharge batteries”, he has said in a podcast. “I don’t have much gas in the tank. So I have to find a way to switch off and freshen up or something”… Might we suggest… a vacation?
