Time of changes in the Archdiocese of Lecce. Yesterday morning the archbishop Michele Seccia gathered the diocesan clergy in Roca on the occasion of the usual day of the priesthood at the end of the pastoral year.
During the meeting he made official the appointments of the new parish priests and other pastoral services which will take effect from next September.
The parish priests
Don Vito Caputo is the new parish priest of Cathedral of Lecce: replaces Msgr. Flavio De Pascali, sent to Loppiano (Fi) as one of the leaders of the International Center of Spirituality and training school for priests, deacons and seminarians, ‘Vinea mea’ of the Focolare Movement; Mons. Mauro Carlino is the new parish priest of Holy Cross in Lecce: replaces Msgr. Flavio De Pascali; Mons. Vincenzo Marinaci is the new parish priest of Santa Maria della Luce in San Matteo in Lecce: he replaces Mons. Giancarlo Polito; Don Carlo Calvaruso is the new parish priest of San Pio X in Lecce: he replaces Don Vito Caputo; Don Daniele Fazzi is the new parish priest of Saint Francis of Assisi in Lecce: replaces Don Elvi De Magistris; Don Federico Andriani is the new parish priest of Maria SS.
