The General Catholic Action in Malaga offers again, attending to the Diocesan Pastoral Priorities, the School for Accompaniers, with a novelty: an intensive initiation School for Accompaniers, on October 8 and 9.
And it is that, “within the challenges that evangelization currently poses to us and the different paths that, thanks be to God, are being traveled within the Church to give a real and concrete response, is the task of accompaniment”, they affirm from ACG in Malaga, therefore, “in this context and in accordance with the pastoral plan of our diocese, we want to continue working on the task of accompaniment from the School of Accompaniers, emphasizing accompaniment and the task of the accompaniers in the processes faith of other people, as a way to express God’s mercy and love for each person.
This course continues to be offered to all parishes by the School of Accompaniers, “with the intention that it serves to train the hearts of all those who, having had an encounter with the Lord, want Him to be the engine that guides their lives.” , being capable of the witness announcement of the Gospel and being apostles in the middle of the world. It is not only a question of a catechetical or doctrinal formation, nor, exclusively, of a social, human or ecclesial formation; rather, it is about accompanying people on a path where, harmonizing all the dimensions of their faith, they can freely choose Jesus Christ, know him, live him, in order to follow him and announce him in their personal, family, ecclesial and Social”. The sessions will be the days January 21, February 18 and March 11, 2023.
And, as a novelty, they offer the days October 8 and 9, 2022a Accompanying School of initiation, under the motto “Called to accompany”, for those who want to accompany groups of children, youth and adults. This first School of Companions will be held in “Villa Nazaret” – House of spirituality of the Nazarene Sisters and will be directed by Antonio Muñoz Varo (“Toño”).

This tool aims to “give vocational meaning to the precious task of accompanying groups of children, youth and adults in the parish; learn methodological resources to program and dynamize group sessions and learn about materials and itineraries that can help us generate processes of maturation in faith».
It will take place at the Casa de Espiritualidad Villa Nazaret – Hermanas Nazarenas, on October 8 and 9, and the speaker will be Antonio Muñoz Varo. The price is 50 euros (35 euros for those who need a subsidy) and includes full board and materials. The schedule is as follows:
