«I’m here to say ‘Thank you’». Silvio Vigliaturo is a great Italian craftsman. His works are appreciated all over the world. And in the world he is one of the greatest experts in glass fusing. He has lived in Chieri since the 1960s, but Calabrian blood pulsates in his veins. In Acri, on the slopes of the Sila, his hometown in which he returned after decades of departure, today there is a museum that preserves some of his masterpieces. On the stage ofAbbey of San Colombanoto Bobbioprovince of Piacenza, observes the chief prosecutor of Catanzaro with shining eyes Nicola Gratteri: «I have reviewed my land and I have seen it changed. It is celebrated in the setting of the birthplace of Oliviero Behaa great Italian journalist who died prematurely in 2017, to whose memory and to whose example the review – conceived and directed together with Danilo Russo – is dedicated.

Gratteri and Comito

“We reward stories that we tell and that become examples”, begins Muscari, welcomed with affection and deference almost a thousand kilometers from home, as the patron of a festival that started from Castrolibero, in Calabria, and which today is an event of national caliber. In Val Trebbia earns the stage that time first it hosted the Marco Bellocchio Film Festival, another illustrious citizen of the center who gave birth to Oliviero Beha. And here it brings, in collaboration with the regional orders of journalists and at the address of the President of the Scientific Committee of Fege Michelangelo Tagliaferri, guru of Italian sociology and communication, also his Calabria. There are prizes made by the master Vigliaturo. There is Nicola Gratteri, awarded the recognition for his “history of courage and civic commitment”. There is Pietro Comitojournalist, host and author of the LaC TV network, awarded for his dissemination work on organized crime which has also attracted the attention of the international media.

From Iacona to Iannacone

The 2022 edition is dedicated to the narration of legality and to the least, the suffering, the forgotten. This is why the Beha memorial, which last year was awarded to Riccardo Iaconathis year goes to Domenico Iannacone, protagonist of the final evening. Iannacone talks about himself to Muscari and to Fege’s audience, he talks about his work and, above all, about a story built since he was a boy with humility, a spirit of sacrifice, dignity. This is the forge that has tempered the talented spirit of one of the noblest expressions of Italian journalism: “Your presence in our roll of honor – says Piero Muscari – honors us, legitimizes us and encourages us to reach new important goals” .

Giacalone and Facchini

Other big names in the Italian journalistic scene, such as that of Domenico Giacalone, editorial director of La Ragione, writer and essayist, voice and face among the most followed and appreciated of Rtl 102.5. Prize also to Alice Facchiniemerging Emilian journalist, freelance who talked about the social world especially from the point of view of the last ones.

Showcase and moral inheritance
