On the occasion of the ten years since the death of the great Bolognese artist, the author Massimo Poggini and Martina Riva will retrace Dalla’s musical and private adventure, through curious and singular testimonies. The spectators will witness the fresco of a brilliant Lucio as few, eccentric and surprising, they will immerse themselves in his childhood and in the relationship with his mother Iole, and then relive the first approaches with the stage and his passion for jazz, from the dawn of his career. to the early Sanremo, gradually towards the sixties and seventies. Poggini will reveal Dalla’s crucial encounters with some of his most trusted friends and collaborators and his great passions for the sea, for Naples and of course for Bologna, but also for Lucio’s profound spirituality and his farcical and playful soul. Finally, the author will reveal the creative background and the most hidden meanings of Dalla’s immortal songs.

Massimo Poggini, is a long-time music journalist. In the second half of the 70s she wrote in Ciao 2001. After numerous collaborations with newspapers and magazines, she worked for Max for 28 years, interviewing the most important Italian musicians and international stars. Martina Riva, graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Udine, holds a BA in Journalism from UCLA in Los Angeles. After working in various US television networks, she returned to Italy to be part of the SKY TG24 show editor, where she worked as a journalist and sent to major world events. Later, you also worked as head of communications at Aurelio De Laurentiis’ Filmauro. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Film and Television Festival of Benevento, presenter of the Flaiano International Awards and of various musical and film events, author of many formats for SKY ARTE.
