It is a story of the Chianti landscape that unites places, people, territories, traditions, cultures of a distant past that loves to be discovered in the present.. A unique journey, a common breath that from the medieval village of Montefiorallerecently crowned among the most beautiful villages in Italy, blows and extends up to the monastic complex of Badia a Passignano. This is the story that the Rai 1 cameras, with the well-known television format of the flagship network “Explora Green Line“, Led by Federico Quaranta and Daria Luppino, have decided to entrust the hills of Greve in Chianti to the millenary castle that was once called Monteficalli, due to the presence of fig trees in the area, and to the woods dotted with olive trees and vineyards which embrace the extraordinary monastic complex of Passignano, also dating back to the year 1000, in the municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle.

The beauty, the origins and the contemporary vitality of two of the most emblematic monumental sites in Chianti are at the center of the new episode of Rai 1 which aired today Saturday 22 October at 12.00.
