Rome – It was published final ranking of the double public notice for the support of Enhancement Projects of cultural heritageintended for live entertainment operators and public bodies.

It is, in all, about over 913 thousand eurosintended for 35 projectsaimed at enhancing the cultural heritage and the territory through the music, dance and theatre. Specifically, of these, 559,000 euros are assigned to public entities, approximately 300,000 to associations, 54,000 to companies operating in the sector.

“A full calendar of activities and appointments which will animate the territory of the Lazio Region until the end of September 2023combining initiatives to promote the regional artistic, architectural, archaeological, monumental and historical heritage – commented the Deputy President of the Lazio Region, Daniele LeodoriAn important funding that embraces all languages, which will bring to life squares and cultural spaces spread throughout the Lazio region such as historic homes, villas, architectural complexes and sites recognized by UNESCO, as well as archaeological parks and Lazio sections of the Paths of spirituality, such as the Via Francigena, the Path of San Francesco and the Way of San Benedetto. We believe that culture remains our great resource, both economic but also of democracy, because it is capable of producing a common identity and a conscious citizenship. The financed projects can benefit from a contribution that covers up to 80% of the eligible costs, for projects presented in associated form the contribution ranges from 30 to 70 thousand euros; for individual projects between 10,000 and 30,000 euros.

Among the projects included in the final ranking is the Municipality of Poggio Moiano with the new edition of Sentieri in Cammino, an event that enhances the cultural heritage scattered along the spiritual paths and historic homes of Alta Sabina and the Valle dell’olio and which confirms a musical program with concerts linked to the proposal of new melodies of cultured music, which blend classical, jazz and ethnic music.

It fits between the paths of spirituality Glades: Cultural spaces along the Via Francigena del Sud 2022, the festival to enhance the territorial system of the Lepini Mountains dedicated to the places of culture crossed by the spiritual journey of the Via Francigena del Sud, which takes place in the municipalities of Sermoneta, Segni, Maenza, Cori, Norma and Priverno.

Finally, with the Paths of the Sacredthe Municipality of Torricella in Sabina is also part of the ranking, for the enhancement of the Way of Francis and Benedict. A journey of about 19 km that alternates stretches of asphalt with secondary roads. You reach the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the medieval city of Rieti. It starts downhill towards the valley, and along the way, with a detour of about 1 km, you reach the town of Ornaro Basso, where it is possible to stop and eat. The path enters the verdant valley of Rieti nestled between the mountains. You pass the sign that indicates 100 km from Rome, it’s time to celebrate, the destination of the journey is approaching, step by step. You will soon enter the historic center of the city with its rich heritage of churches, art monuments and museums.
