On Tuesday the first evening of the Economy and Spirituality Festival

The Lucca edition of the Economy and Spirituality 2022 Festival (seventh edition), will open on Tuesday 27 September, at 9 pm, in the auditorium of the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation, in Piazza San Martino. The opening evening entitled “Civil Economy, Territory, Young People and Start Up: the new frontier of work”, will see the presence of the economist Leonardo Becchetti, professor of Political Economy at the Tor Vergata University of Rome and founder of the National Festival of Civil Economy (Florence, 16-18 September), of the national president of confcooperative and Federsolidarity, Stefano Granata, of Father Guidalberto Bormolini of the community of Rebuilders, of Professor Enrica Lemmi of the Campus University Foundation, of prof. Marco Guidi, Professor of the History of Economic Thought at the University of Pisa, of Prof. Donatella Buonriposi, Provveditore degli Studi of the province. Speakers will include the bishop, Mons.Paolo Giulietti, the councilor for culture of the municipality of Lucca Mia Pisano, the president of the province Luca Menesini, the president of the Banca del Monte Andrea Palestini foundation, the president of the Cassa di Risparmio Foundation Marcello Bertocchini, the vice president of the Banca del Monte di Lucca, Carlo Lazzarini. The festival is now a great regional reality with a very dense program, which began in the province of Florence (Scandicci, Vaglia, Vicchio) in June, and then moved to Prato in July and Capannori in August. In 2023 the municipality of Pisa will also participate in the festival. Since 2016, the year of the first edition, the festival has brought together dozens of economists, journalists, artists, politicians, national and international. Among others, Serge Latouche, Franco Battiato, Carlo Cottarelli, Paolo Virzì, Simone Cristicchi, Vinicio Capossela, Alice, the former treasury minister Piero Barucci, the minister of infrastructure Giovannini, economists Stefano Zamagni, Mario Biggeri, Luigino Bruni, the actresses Claudia Koll, Sabina Guzzanti, the resister Pupi Avati, the scientist Stefano Mancuso (in the next few days present in Lucca in the event of the Laterza publishing house, “Planet Earth”), the president of the WWF Grazia Francescato, Mario Capanna, David Riondino , Vito Mancuso, together with the representatives of all religious confessions, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews and Islamic communities of Italy. During the evening of 27 September, Dr. Maria Grazia Lucchesi, project leader of the Campus University Foundation, will present the second edition of the Smart Scholl of civil economy (the first edition “Economiaditutti” was held in 2021) which foresees three phases: a) a training course of transversal skills and orientation, in collaboration with the school office of Lucca; b) the Smart Scholl; c) the phase of accompaniment to business creation.
