From Friday 24th to Saturday 26th June, Forte Sofia will light up with lights, music and performances. The sculptor and ceramist Sisto Righi will present “Oltre…”, the summa of his artistic career: more than 40 works located in all the spaces of the ancient fortress, with his favorite materials: wood, ceramic, resins, metals. Chorally participating in the event: the Central Movement Dance & Theater Collective with “The whisper of the body”, music by Eloisa Manera and Stefano Greco / PHASE DUO, directed by Claudio Gasparotto; we will listen to the vibrations of the Tibetan bells and the gongs, and then, dynamic meditation, Egyptian-Essene and shamanic experiences, Marika’s voice and guitar from South America, while Letizia Ghiotti will accompany the “journey” with her violin.
The proceeds from the event will go to the “Cafal Project” for the construction of a school in Guinea-Bissau, in collaboration with the “One Bridge to Idomeni” non-profit organization engaged in the Balkans.
Sisto Righi was born in 1958 in San Marino where I live and work. He has participated in several group exhibitions, exhibited in London and Tokyo, Rome, Verona, at the Venice Biennale and made several personal exhibitions in Tuscany, Umbria, San Marino. He started devoting himself totally to art in 2010.
