October 9, 2022 Full Moon or Hunter’s Full Moon: In Search of Balance

Any full moon is a time when two opposing and therefore complementary forces come face to face, in powerful focus. This is why they are often felt very intensely. This also means that there are two ways to live this peak of the lunation cycle: either by undergoing the tensions present, or by taking advantage of them as a fabulous energetic potential conducive to freeing our creativity. To promote the second alternative, we are going to take stock of the particular dynamics of this full moon and offer you a balancing protocol.

So what are the forces present today? Whatever your sun sign, it plays out between Aries and Libra. What concerns us here is therefore to find a point of reconciliation between the need to deploy a force of impact in the face of a situation (Aries) and that of maintaining relational harmony (Libra).

To better understand the issue, let’s first see what happens when these two energies are in conflict, that is to say when we choose one of the two poles to the detriment of the other:

  • If the imbalance leans more on the side of Aries, we act on impulse, in all unconsciousness, “without filter”. The well-being of others is not part of our concerns and we act according to our frustrations, our anger or our badly digested desires, this inevitably leads to destructive behavior and therefore self-destructive.
  • On the contrary, if it is the Libra side that predominates, we may be far too preoccupied with preserving – at all costs – a relationship, which leads us to over-adapt. We fear disturbing, offending the other, irritating them… conflicts simmer, which traps us in toxic relationships.

The powerful synergy of Aries and Libra

Let us now come to the magic of these two polarities when they find their point of fusion. The power thus released is particularly precious since it has the ability to make us live stimulating, harmonious relationships, to be at ease with others while feeling we fully exist. This fusion is the basis of all life, so it is particularly important to seek it. With Libra, we remain aware of the importance of maintaining relational fluidity, advancing towards the other with tact and diplomacy. The others feel safe, because they know that the Libra will not be overwhelmed by their impulses and thus, it does not risk hurting them. With Aries, we stay connected to our limits, to our personal needs, because we know that feelings of anger and frustration deserve to be heard. These emotions are there simply to signal to us that a situation deserves our attention. They are the essential alerts to make the adjustments necessary for our well-being. Without Aries, we could go very far in denying ourselves, even letting ourselves die out of politeness.

You have no doubt experienced those moments when you had to position yourself clearly and firmly (Aries) but where it was a question of doing it with tact, diplomacy (Libra), deferring your first impulses to find the perfect mode of action for you. feel respected while maintaining relational harmony.

A Full Moon to better understand Aries

This Full Moon on October 9 offers us an opportunity to find a healing path to this perfect balance. The planetary positions offer us to do this by opening ourselves up to a new understanding of Aries energy magick. Indeed, the Full Moon is positioned on Chiron, the healer of the zodiac. And Aries needs us to finally recognize his benevolence! It must be admitted that this sign is one of the “unloved” signs of traditional astrology. It is considered violent, selfish, intrusive, impulsive, narcissistic, destructive… but this is to misunderstand its mode of action. Aries is the origin of all life. Without him, no seed, without him, nothing can start, without him, we are suffocated under a weight of conveniences, we dare nothing and we keep silent, for fear of disturbing, of displeasing… even if it means living in an existence where one confuses relational harmony and submission.

I therefore propose a protocol that will allow you both to affirm your truth, while preserving the beauty of your relationships with others.

Balancing Protocol

  1. In your relational environment (family, friends, colleagues, line manager, business partners, etc.), who is the person to whom you dare not completely tell things for fear of offending them, losing them or losing an advantage it gives you?
  2. Imagine everything you would like to say to this person (even if it’s a little raw for now, loaded with anger, sadness and frustration, let yourself go)
  3. Now focus on this person, take the time to appreciate all that they bring to you, all that you deeply appreciate about them.
  4. Visualize the ideal, long-term relationship you want to have with this person. See what happens when you feel fully respected, welcomed, listened to.
  5. Could you define the worst that could happen if you really told this person everything that is on your heart?

It must stir up all the emotional material inside of you. Take the time to digest this (by going for a walk, by meditating…), as much as necessary until in your body, you feel perfectly at ease and happy to express yourself. In this way, you will find the communication perfectly aligned, where it will be a question of respect for her, but also for yourselves.

Beautiful full moon!
