T.art, brain and science. An autumn full of discoveries is what awaits visitors to the MUSE – Trento Science Museum. Meetings, experiences and unmissable appointments that combine beauty and knowledge. The three events linked to the “Lascaux Experience” exhibition are expected, which will allow you to take a dip in prehistory with “Around Lascaux. Three encounters between art, brain and spirituality “. And then again in October the performance of Nezaket Ekicconsidered heir of Marina Abramovic, who will exhibit at the Palafitte Museum of Lake Ledro in “We are the Flood”. T.Have you ever wondered what it was like to enter a prehistoric cave? What was the first subject depicted in Paleolithic paintings? Now you will be able to find out in three meetings where, together with experts, you will be able to dialogue on the theme of the art of the past between the brain and spirituality.

Tuesday 18th October

C.reactivity and altered states of consciousness in the Paleolithic caves. With Nicola De Pisapiaprofessor at the University of Trento. How does our brain behave when we enter a deep cave? Are Paleolithic paintings an expression of altered states of consciousness? Get involved in an experiment with sounds and lights to experience a slight alteration of the state of consciousness, similar to that experienced by the people of the Paleolithic while exploring a painted cave.

Thursday 10th November

H.homo and other animals: a spiritual relationship from prehistoric times to today. With Sara Hejaziresearcher Bruno Kessler Foundation. In the painted Paleolithic caves there is a world made of images, darkness and suggestions that open a glimpse into the spirituality and rituality of our ancestors and our ancestors. Were they real religious cults? What was their significance? And why were some animals represented and others not? Nezaket Ekici for We Are The Flood

TOrriva in Trentino Nezaket Ekicidefined by the press as the “Worthy heir of Marina Abramović” of which she was a student at the Braunschweig Academy of Art. Tuesday October 25 at 15 to Museum of the Palafitte di Ledrothe Turkish artist will make one new performance on the waters of the lake. The return to the public will take place the next day, Wednesday 26 October at 6 pm at the MUSE. The event falls into “We Are The Flood – We are the flood”liquid platform on the climate crisis conceived by MUSE and the artist Stefano Cagol.

WE ARE THE FLOOD – We are the flood is the new liquid platform on climate crisis, anthropocene interactions and ecological transition which invites you to get involved in the themes ofAnthropocene through the language and interpretation of contemporary art.

Performance by Nezaket Ekici

Nezaket Ekici is a performative artist known for challenging her body with a tone that is between the playful and the disturbing. With her performance she will try to trigger a reflection on the present and the future.

Climate Disarmament at MUSE

Lenvironmental and climatic emergency concerns the whole of humanity, it must therefore be addressed globally and with a multidisciplinary approach, which has as its objective the building a more equitable and just society respecting natural systems. An opportunity to confront experts and activists on the impact of militarization policies on the climate and the environment and on how climate change affects conflicts, territories, and populations. An event of Italian Peace and Disarmament Network, 46th Parallel Association, Trentino Forum for Peace and Human Rights, APPA And MUSE. The interpreter in Italian Sign Language (LIS).

Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October

Lhe evening at MUSE opens the national conference Climate Disarmament. The environmental impact of weapons and wars and the possible collective paths towards a future of climate security which will be held in the Representation Room of the Regional Council of the Autonomous Region of Trentino-Alto Adige / Südtirol.
