A new stage of “A Sua Immagine estate” in Umbria, in the city of Spoleto, the result of the millennial evolution of the relationship between nature, environment and human society, permeated with the spirituality infused by the hermits and St. Francis of Assisi who found in Monteluco refuge and asceticism. Other churches that substantiate the religious and spiritual history of the city, alternate in the television story with the Rocca Albornoz, a bulwark wanted in 1362 by card. The episode of “A Sua Immagine” on Sunday 21 August, broadcast from 10.30, is dedicated to the saints of the sea, to those saints who have a direct relationship with the sea and are therefore venerated for this reason. Among the saints linked to the sea is St. Nicholas whose relics were brought to Italy across the sea. St Paul also came from the sea to Malta where he became the first bishop of the island. San Francesco di Paola, patron saint of sailors and seafarers, is venerated in the religiosity of the coastal people who seek protection and salvation from the dangers of nature. In the studio together with Lorena Bianchetti there will be Lia Giancristofaro, anthropologist, and Father Luciano Lotti, general secretary of the Padre Pio Prayer Groups. As usual at 10.55, after the news with Paolo Balduzzi, the line will switch to mass, always live on Rai Uno: the Eucharistic celebration will be broadcast from the church of San Giovanni Battista in Àlice Bel Colle (Alessandria).
