I visited Jesus in the Tabernacle and this happened to me… (a strong testimony)

“I like to visit him and talk to him about my things” (An Aleteia reader). Claudio de Castro, author of books on spirituality, reflects on the importance of intimate dialogue with Jesus

Today will be a special day, not one of those ordinary days when everything seems to go by without leaving reasons for joy. Night comes and again the day. We will do something special for you.

Your prayers, comments, do not go unnoticed. We read everything you send us. And we are filled with gratitude. Without your prayers it would not be possible to continue. We feel accompanied, twinned, united.

We have received so many beautiful testimonials from our readers at Aleteia that we find it uplifting to share a few. People who suddenly go to the Tabernacle of their parishes in search of comfort, tenderness, love. A word from Jesus and they leave comforted, knowing they are loved, filled with a supernatural strength that motivates them to continue and move forward.

How good you are Jesus!

I have seen amazed how Jesus, consolation of souls, hidden in the tabernacle, fills souls with his grace and his love.

Do you know what the tabernacle is? In these articles I explain it to you, so that you can get to know it and be encouraged to go today and visit Jesus, who is waiting for you with enthusiasm.

“I die of love for Jesus alive, inside that sacred place called Tabernacle. How is it that Jesus had that detail of love to stay there guarded, even when he knew that many times he would be alone? It was his love, the same love that led him to the cross”.

(A reader of Aleteia)

Lampada do Santíssimo

Every day more readers discover the immense love that Jesus has and that he pours out on their afflicted souls, from the tabernacle.

Jesus keeps insisting: “Come see me. Why leave me alone?

TABERNACLE

An abandoned tabernacle gives me so much pain. Every time I go to a parish and find Jesus alone in the tabernacle, with no one to keep him company, I remember the strong words of the Bishop of the abandoned tabernacles, Saint Manuel González García.

“Any! I don’t ask you now for money for poor children. No help for the sick. Nor work for the unemployed. Nor consolation for the afflicted. I ask you for alms of affection for Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament; a little heat for those Tabernacles so Abandoned.

I ask you, for the love of the Immaculate Mary, Mother of that Son so despised, and for the love of that unreciprocated Heart, to keep these Abandoned Tabernacles company… Today I invoke your attention and your cooperation in favor of the most abandoned of all the poor: the Blessed Sacrament!”

The poorest, then, the most abandoned is Jesus Christ in the tabernacle. Do not leave him alone, do not abandon him, look for him, visit him, talk to him who is always waiting for you. We have to go back to the tabernacle, visit Jesus and learn to live in his presence.”

a soul in love

Thanks to the good Lord, every day there are more souls in love with Jesus in the Tabernacle, they pamper him, visit him, pray with him, tell him they love him. I do not know anyone who visits Jesus in the Tabernacle and he leaves the same as he was.

Jesus knows how to touch our hearts and fill us with Hope.

Last week, when I opened my email I discovered such a beautiful message that it deserved to be shared, because of how uplifting it is for us..

“About 25 years ago I was going through difficult situations in my life. It had been many years since I visited Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and on an impulse I went to a chapel where the priest, with great devotion and love, exposed the Blessed Sacrament.

The moment he was in front of me I felt a hug full of all His love (When I describe it I feel it again and my eyes cry again) that comforts me immediately and I saw my problems in a different way, and most importantly, I felt as loved as no one has made me feel, with a unique and unconditional love.

Now, every time I visit him I have that feeling, that he listens to me, hugs me and comforts me and I am one of those people who when they pray my heart shakes so much… that I always cry. I feel my littleness and the divinity of it. Go visit him, he’s a great friend!”

Dear reader of Aleteia, would you be so kind as to visit Jesus in the Tabernacle? And when you go, please tell him: “Lord, Claudio sends you his regards.”

God bless you!
