On 9-10 and 11 September the Union of Municipalities Le Terre della Marca Senone proposes in Piticchio di Arcevia the show with free admission created by Teatro Giovani Teatro Pirata as part of Marche Storie. On the same days, in the municipalities of the Union, nature walks, guided tours of the villages and extraordinary opening in Piticchio of the smallest private theater in Europe

In the Val Mivola crumbs of stories nestled within the walls of Piticchio. This is the profound meaning of the show How the wind moves them scheduled for 9-10 and 11 September at 9.00 pm in the Castle of Piticchio and included in the project presented by the Union of Municipalities The Lands of the Marca Senone funded by the Marche Region as part of the Marche Storie call. The show, canvas improvisation for narrator and musician, was born from an artistic project of Teatro Giovani Teatro Pirata which wanted to draw on the great heritage of stories and legends contained in the castles of Arcevia. In fact, castles by their nature contain stories and guard myths and legends. Each of their nooks evokes narratives capable of forging the identity of the place where feelings, spirituality and popular legends are intertwined.

The project aims to draw on the great heritage of stories and legends contained in the castles of Arcevia by building a theatrical performance on this material.

The choice of the castle of Piticchio as the natural theater of the three theatrical performances of How the Wind Moves Them 9-10 and 11 September is particularly significant. In fact, right in the heart of the ancient castle of Piticchio, inside the Carletti Giampieri palace, there is one of the smallest nineteenth-century theaters in Europe. It is a rare example of a private noble theater which maintains its original characteristics intact and which despite its small size retains the same scenic impact as the larger theaters. On the occasion of Brands Stories the Carletti Giampieri theater will be exceptionally open allowing visitors to discover an artistic asset of great value in our territory.

To make this cultural itinerary even more enjoyable, the Amici di Piticchio Association offers visitors a tasting of Rocca Contrada’s octofile corn crescia with cold cuts and local wines (reservations at 340 4560636).

The show with Enrico De Simoni will be directed by Enrico Messina with live music by Enrico Contardi. Admission will be free. Info: www.atgtp.it ticketetteria@atgtp.it

On 9-10 and 11 September all the Municipalities of the Union of Municipalities Le Terre della Marca Senone (Senigallia, Arcevia, Barbara, Ostra, Ostra Vetere, Serra de ‘Conti Trecastelli) will host free initiatives on the occasion of Marche Storie: from walks with guide immersed in nature until the extraordinary opening of museums and guided tours of the ancient villages.
