Flo Delavega: he found peace and tells it in a book

The singer had found refuge with nature, at home in Gironde but also in the Landes forest. A return on him necessary for the singer, after the frenzy of his Parisian experience carried out with his friend Jérémy Frérot. Five years after this change of life, he confides in a book, “On the way to dreams”, which helped to calm him down.

At 35, Florian is ready, he says, to enter a new phase of his life. This book is the end of a chapter that he had to see through. He directly explains his questions about the world around us and his personal journey, but also his own way of daydreaming, as a form of meditation, inner reflection.

In the book he explains “I share a bit of the practices that have helped me to connect, to open my eyes to myself, to be able to deconstruct all the things we have learned that are harmful, that limit us”.

But he denies any advice : “I propose things but, obviously, everyone finds their way, the way to go towards their dreams”.

This book, he carried it for almost five years. After the spotlight, he sought his inner light in a process of “personal development”, as he says with a smile. At that time, he also decided to settle in a small house in the heart of the Landes forest, with his partner and later his little boy. “I took away an inner peace that I did not suspect”.

So he begins his foreword: “I am writing to you from this place where dreams are born, from this magical moment just before the day is dawning. As if out of necessity, I am writing to you right in the middle of my life journey. I am writing to you as if to take stock, to understand, transmit and testify”.

The singer is addressing those who followed him, those who may not have understood this breakup and even those who do not know him. “I am writing to share my experience with you, no doubt because I need this elevation, because I am convinced that the more the world opens up to its spirituality, the fairer it will be, but also and especially because you are part of my path. You helped make it “extra-ordinary” “.

Part of my awakening belongs to you. Thank you.

For him, the writing of “Sur le chemin des rêves” (Editions Jouvence) is the continuity of his first album. “Rêveur Forever” is an ode to life, to renewal, to the beauty of nature and above all to the power of dreams.

It is mentioned throughout the album and in particular in eternal spring :
There’s a world around waiting for us
Where our dreams take shape, our bigger dreams
As if it had been written since the dawn of time
A new day is dawning, all around is rising

or in We both :

behind my every step
So many dreams and so much of you
behind my every step
So many dreams of both of us at once

This album and this book now is like a return to the public who had perhaps lost sight of him. Flo now says she is ready to start a new chapter in her life. He said he wanted to live abroad for a while, play the singer-nomad. Leaving to better return, no doubt towards its forest, its coast.
