Eure. Radepont: a book and spirituality fair at the abbey of Fontaine

L’Abbey of Notre-Dame de Fontaine-Guérardsituated at Radepont (Eure), awakens from its winter slumber.

For its opening of the season, it is a day dedicated to books and at the spiritualitywhich will take place this Sunday, April 10, 2022.

This Book and Spirituality Fair, organized with Éditions Lazare and Capucine, will be chaired by Paule Amblard.

A historian of medieval art, specializing in the symbolism of the image, Paule Amblard is also a writer who has published works of art intended to make people discover this symbolic language of works and their spiritual teaching.

In 2013, she created Éditions Enteleki with her husband, Marc Amblard, to transmit a biblical and spiritual culture to children. She wrote the screenplays and worked as artistic director on the film: The Animated Bible which tells the story of the great characters of the Bible Abraham, Noah, David and Jonas.

On Sunday, she will host one of the conferences offered at 2:30 p.m. on the theme: the sacred Feminine.

The program

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Book Fair with meetings and signings. Exhibition of works by Élodie Falgon.
– 10 a.m.: doors open.
– 10.30 a.m.: large room on the 1st floor, dormitory of the sisters: welcome and presentation of the day by Paule Amblard.
– 11 am to 4.30 pm: conferences in the dormitory of the nuns, 1st floor:
11 a.m.: A secular reading of the Bible by Claude Thélot, sociologist.
12 p.m.: the spiritual dimension of the skin by Sylvie Monpoint, author, dermatologist.
1:30 p.m.: the gardens of infinity by Gérard Emmanuel Fomerand, author.
2:30 p.m.: The Sacred Feminine by Paule Amblard.
3:30 p.m.: love as a spiritual path by Leili Anvar.
– 5 p.m.: musical tribute to Alain Kremski with Jean-Jacques Lemêtre and Philippe Mero. Duration 30 minutes.
– 6 p.m.: theatre: “If I shut up, the stones will cry (Le testament de Myriam de Magdala), directed by Véronique Dimicoli, text by Jean-Yves Leloup. Admission €12. Scriptorium (ground floor) duration: 1h15
– 7:30 p.m.: closing aperitif

At his side, authors will present their works, including Leili Anvar, the guest of honour. Normale, agrégée and doctor in literature, Leili Anvar is a lecturer at the National Institute of Oriental Languages ​​and Civilizations and collaborates in the work and seminars of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Societies of the Muslim World.

She hosted the program: Les Racines du Ciel on France Culture, then Les discussions du soir. She is also a columnist for Le Monde des Religions and has been the host since 2019 of the program Islam broadcast on Sunday mornings on France 2.

She will also host the last conference of the day at 3:30 p.m. on the theme: love as a spiritual path.

Several conferences will take place between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Music, theater and works of art

The public will also be able to admire the works ofElodie Falgon.

At 5 p.m., place for a musical and poetic tribute with Jean-Jacques Lemêtre and Philippe Mero (duration 30 minutes).

At 6 p.m., the Folhéliotrope company will present “If I shut up, the stones will cry…” This play looks back on the testament of Myriam de Magdala, with texts by Jean-Yves Leloup and a staging by Véronique Dimicoli.

Finally, this opening day of the season focused on spirituality will end around an aperitif.

FREE ENTRANCE

For this opening of the season, the abbey of Fontaine-Guérard will be accessible free of charge.

The public will thus be able to take advantage of the various conferences and activities (only the play costs €12).

If the entrance will be free therefore, the participations received will be donated for the renovation of the gardens of the abbey.
