The third Monti Azzurri Festival, which has just ended, is a journey full of different stories. From Ripe San Ginesio to Monte San Martino, passing through Sant’Angelo in Pontano, up to the garden of the Palazzo dei Principi in Abbadia di Fiastra where, even barefoot, it was possible to enjoy the musical suggestions offered by the classical harp.

“Cloisters and inks of peace. Spirituality and creative thinking against all loneliness ”,“ A series of encounters that focused on a desire for confrontation – he says Giampiero Feliciotti, president of the Montana Union -. In each religious or secular cloister, important issues were addressed. High-quality meetings that raise the esteem of our institution and renew interest in visiting our villages, in a moment of recovery that we are experiencing ». The creator of the festival speaks of sharing as a desirable attitude for the future to overcome loneliness, Sandro Polciwhich focuses attention on the beauty of the places: “We must deserve this beauty, we must measure it and carry out every action that follows from it: from maintaining it, to the ability to see the same things with different eyes and therefore to attract strongly and with a lot of frankness, no longer tourism but temporary citizenship ”.

A series of interventions that lead, also through the two river contracts, to take care of this territory, beyond those that are traditional public works ».
