“Cloisters and inks of Peace”: the Monti Azzurri festival continues

The journey of the Third Festival dei Monti Azzurri continues “Cloisters and inks of peace. Spirituality and creative thinking against all loneliness “. After the presentation hosted on 23 July in Ripe San Ginesio, which also coincided with the evening of thanks to the voluntary associations present in the 15 municipalities of the Montana Union, an event enlivened by the Beatles tribute offered by the BeatBox, after the Ginesina stage the last July 30 with the visit to the cloister of Sant’Agostino and the inauguration of the monographic exhibition on the talent of Nino Ricci, recently passed away, the next appointments of the Festival will be tight.

It continues on Wednesday 3 August when a Belforte del Chienti, in the external spaces of the former church of San Sebastiano which houses MIDAC, the International Museum of Contemporary Art, at 6.00 pm the home atmosphere will be relived in the multi-voiced meeting “The farmyard, family cloister, humanity and sustenance” . It will be a cheerful dialogue, thanks to the liveliness of Silvano Scalzini that will bring the public into the stories of the past with the book “The world and the recipes of Mr. Lardo” e Letizia Carducciof the informal group Identità Contadine, who will present the volume by Giuseppina Pieragostini “The beauty of little”.

Thursday 4 August at 9.00 pm in Sant’Angelo in Pontano at the Nicola Antonio Angeletti theater, there will be the evening “Against every solitude”, music and saudade with Mafalda Minnozzi, vocal virtuosity with jazz, samba and bossa nova, together with the brief thoughts brought by the psychiatrist Gianni Giuli and the man of faith, the bishop Giancarlo Vecerrica.

Friday 5 August at 6.00 pm for “The new Cloisters”, a Ripe San Ginesio, inauguration of the new Cultural Center in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, below, in Largo Febo Allevi, “Dialogue with Vincenzo Mollica”. The singing of Vespers with the Augustinian community will follow. Tuesday 9 August at 9.00 pm stop in Treia, home of Dolores Prato, with the “Hortus conclusus: tales from the Cloister” together with Lucia Tancredi and the voice of Serena Abrami. The festival, which will continue until 13 August, is organized by the Unione Montana dei Monti Azzurri and supported by the Regional Council, the Marche Legislative Assembly, the Marche Chamber of Commerce and BPER Banca.
