Charlie Cunningham, ‘Frame’ release date announced

Charlie Cunningham has announced the release date of his highly anticipated third album of unreleased tracks “Frames” (BMG), which will see the light on March 31, 2023.

Without a doubt, it is themost ambitious album by the singer-songwriter until today. In fact, Charlie follows the singer-songwriter roots, but his songs are enriched with references to theart rockto the jazz of the golden era and the neoclassical compositionwhile maintaining the main feature of all his works, i.e. immediacy and essentiality.

“We are the sum of the aspects that combine to define our personalities and these songs are conversations between all those aspects that determine mine. Learning to accept, or even embrace, the conflicting parts of ourselves is a matter of self-preservation.”

Frames” therefore represents another sophisticated evolution of Charlie’s sound and explores the main themes of the human condition: lo love tormentthe spiritualitythe ache and theanxiety caused by the current climatic situation, which continues to question us about the future of our planet.
