And what the territory offers is just that: outdoor adventures that lead to the discovery of a rich cultural and natural heritage.

And it really is near the Castle of Roveretoone of the most important examples of alpine fortification of the late Middle Ages, which starts a unique path, a trekking of wonders called The Treasures of Trambileno.

Discovering I Tesori di Trambileno

Nature, history, sacred and profane intertwine here and become one, leading explorers to walk the ways of the ancient pilgrims. The starting point of this excursion is theHermitage of San Colombano which, we are sure, needs no introduction.

It is a building perched on the rock that defies the force of gravity. The hermitage of San Colombano, dedicated to the saint, enchants for its position suspended between heaven and earth. The building is the starting point for excursions and itineraries aimed at discovering the entire territory.

To reach the hermitage it is necessary to travel 102 steps overhanging the Leno river. The visit inside is totally free and will allow you to discover all the spirituality of an incredible place.

From here, then, you can cross a bridge that takes you directly to the hamlet of Ca ‘Bianca. A luxuriant forest will open up before your eyes, after having walked through it you will find yourself in fraction of Moscheri where it is possible to admire the Sanctuary of La Salette. Built in 1856, and consecrated to the Virgin, the building dominates the valley from above defining the urban landscape. A silent and suggestive pine forest, which winds all around, is the ideal place to regenerate the senses and recharge your energy.

If you want to discover the other wonders of the area, then, you can continue towards the mountains of the First World War and climb the evocative and panoramic peaks of Col Santo, Monte Testo and Palon, the sacred area of ​​Monte Pasubio

To be included in the itinerary is also the Fort Pozzacchio, Werk Valmorbia, the last Austro-Hungarian fortress carved into the rock and recently restored. Located on the slopes of Monte Pasubio, in the municipality of Trambileno, events are organized in this place of memory to commemorate the fallen of the Great War.
