We will not get out of the labyrinth with our now highly developed sectoral knowledge – topics of which
I have already spoken in my shows Magnificat and Furiosa-Mente – but with capacity
daily life to broaden your gaze, consciously participating in making soul in the
world.

Lucilla Giagnoni
Lucilla Giagnoni presents her new and exciting show which opens the “Trilogy
of Generativity”. After the Trilogy of Spirituality and the one dedicated to Humanity, the author
and interpreter – among the greatest in storytelling theater – returns to the stage with a show
entirely dedicated to Giacomo Leopardi, who continues his now twenty-year journey
of discovery and reflection on the great themes of the present.

Things speak. They announce themselves, testify to their presence: “Look, we are here.” And
they look at us, no matter how we look at them. This call for attention
it is the sign of a soul-infused world. James Hillman, Anima mundi
By now it is certain that every event sets in motion a chain of reactions and resonances, which
involve the whole world. It has long been known that if a butterfly flaps its wings in Beijing,
a hurricane blows up in California.
It was known, it was said, but no one had really experienced it yet.

Now we know, because we lived it.
There is no more time to waste: the world is subject to immense suffering and it shows
acute and clamorous symptoms with which he defends himself against collapse. Because we are large
responsible measure, we have to work hard to get back in balance with the mechanism
that nourishes Life: women, men, animals, plants, bacteria, viruses and minerals, air, water, earth and fire united by mutual care.
Great political actions are needed, but above all small daily acts: starting from noticing the
things, from a gaze capable of seeing his soul in everything, equal to ours, which
know how to be a tool to act.
I have always dreamed of a school that first of all educates in poetry: poetry from the Greek
Poieo which means to make, produce, generate. To educate in the ability to enchant, to
transformation and generation. Teaching to notice.
Leopardi shortly before dying sees Vesuvius erupting but his attention goes to a flower:
the broom. The small plant shows him with extreme simplicity what can really be done.
Still very young, it was a hedge that expanded his gaze towards endless spaces and
superhuman silences.
Anima Mundi is entirely dedicated to Leopardi, the poet who suffered most intensely
the relationship with Nature and together participated in the Soul of the World.
