‘A Juta in Montevergine Mater Regenerationis: the complete program

Appointment in Ospedaletto d’Alpinolo from 10 to 12 September 2022

“This is the Jute for the recovery of a state of spiritual grace, of moral, social and political dignity. This is the Jute of Popular Memory. This is the Jute of Devotion”, With these words the organizers presented the 24th edition of ‘A Juta in Montevergine – “Mater Regenerationis”scheduled Saturday 10, Sunday 11 and Monday 12 September 2022 in Ospedaletto d’Alpinolo, in the province of Avellino.

The three days, with the artistic direction of Fiorenza Calogero, will be full of conferences, food and wine stands and craft shops in the historic center, traveling groups and paranze in the streets of the Borgo, live concerts and street art. Without forgetting the traditional parade – scheduled for 11 September – through the streets of the town, with festively decorated cars, horses and carts, which anticipates the gathering and pilgrimage of 12 September toMontevergine Abbeyto pay homage to Mamma Schiavona.

The Organization has arranged two locations for all the groups that for devotion and tradition want to play freely: the Villa Comunale and Piazza Pellegrino.

In the Historic Center, only the artists included in the Festival program and provided with BADGE are foreseen.
