We fidget to celebrate the Solstice with Spirit Dance!

Solstice! Solstice! Next Tuesday, our dear sun will reach its zenith in the sky and we will benefit from the longest day of the year – and the shortest night. This year, spiritdance offers you to ritualize this astrological event during a dancing experience animated by a whole beautiful gang. On the program, spirituality and dance ! DJ Neerav and several artists will perform to give you a magical moment. And for the magic to work properly, there will be several rules to respect, namely: no shoes, no discussions (during the course) and no substances. There will also be free dance moments where you can also chat! If you want to participate in the dress code, you can wear your best outfits in summer colors, namely orange, yellow, pink, red, bright or pastel. We’re going to laugh at the party The Doubtful Little Cinema!

Imagine a vsitinerant inema proposing the projection of weird old videos (old VHS for example, or things from the bottom of the Internet), all interspersed with games with the public (quiz, dubbing fights, karaoke or even bingo!). Ken Mallar will host this delightfully absurd evening; he is an illustrator (among other things) and you may have already admired his work in festivals, like this awesome drawing hello-garlic. Each performance is unique, because it is the public who decides the course of the screening and its content! It will cost you $16 and you can buy your ticket here. We’re celebrating the return of the Hochelaga MiniFest!

This year and after two years of absence, we are delighted to find this festival of humor independent! You can see more 200 artists (very eclectic) in more than 75 shows different. We’re going to party at the Piccola Festival!

We will never be asked to go and test good food in the Little Italy. And precisely, all this weekend, St-Laurent Boulevard will become a pedestrian between Saint-Zotique and Jean-Talon streets!
