Various artistic proposals for September at the Auditorium

Peteco Carabajal, Jorge Vázquez, Ariel Ardit, Lidia Borda, Fernando Cabrera, festivals of artistic trends, dance, theater and puppets make up the September program at the Auditorium Theater promoted by the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires. Also visual arts exhibitions and film cycles, workshops and clinics among other proposals.

Under the production of the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires, the Auditorium Theater will have an intense inclusive and comprehensive program of multiple artistic genres during September with free admission or seats that do not exceed $500.-.

In this framework, the “Popular Artists” cycle will continue with recitals by Peteco Carabajal (Friday 9), Jorge Vázquez (Saturday 10) and Ariel Ardid with Lidia Borda (Friday 16).

On the other hand, on Friday the 10th in the Astor Piazzolla room, the Uruguayan singer-songwriter Fernando Cabrera, a benchmark of River Plate music, will perform. Meanwhile, on Saturday, September 17, he will go up on the “Amores Tangos” stage, launching his new album with guest singers such as Cocuza Castiello, Negro falótico and Marita Moyano.

In addition, this month the festivals of artistic tendencies “PNJ?” (why not Thursday?). Every week, occupying all the spaces of the Auditorium Theater, more than 30 companies and groups will share stages in multiple disciplines. Music, theater, dance, alternative and urban artists. In visual arts, from September 8 to 29, the exhibition “Resonances of our land” arrives in Mar del Plata, as part of the Banco Provincia Bicentennial celebration. made up of works from the entity’s private collection. The exhibition will be inaugurated in the foyer of the Auditorium with paintings and engravings from the Argentine cultural heritage, in a joint action with the Arturo Jauretche Chair.

Likewise, in the Paseo de la Imagen, two photographic exhibitions by Rubén Romano will be set up, curated by Ataulfo ​​Perez Aznar within the framework of the National Institute of Photography. These are Katináj and Nopeyak Wo (The Owner of Shadows), in which the artist addresses the spirituality and worldview of indigenous communities.

The III Body, Art and Gender Festival will also be held; the opening of the 5th edition of the Guille Yanícola Independent Theater Festival, the First National Encounter of Puppets “Pepe García”, will continue the cycle “MardelDanza” and concerts of “Música x la Identidad” and “Música x Malvinas”.

In the seventh art, the screenings of Cine Arte Auditorium, Cinema in Context: the First Bergman, Films & Punk and the Funcinema Festival will continue.

In addition, the plastic arts clinics “Avistaje 2022” will continue, the functions of “The theater and the School”, the Participatory Tours for different educational levels and “The Freestyle goes to the School” taking urban music to different public establishments of Mar del Silver.
