Third International Summit on Governance and Spirituality announced for December

THE NEW DIARY, SANTO DOMINGO. – The organizing committee of the III International Summit on Governance and Spirituality, reported this Monday that the entire assembly is ready for the realization of the new edition, to be held on December 9 and 10 in the Aula Magna of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, (UASD).

The pastor and journalist Teófilo Alcántara, president of the Organizing Committee, defined the event as essential at this time with the aim of seeking a balance between Society, Governance and Spirituality, thus allowing to activate and strengthen the presence of Christian leadership in those Political scenarios, Economic and Social essential for the integral development of the design that God has created for a better and abundant life of the family and the nation.

And on the occasion of the 74th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Organizing Committee will present an important Legislative contribution to the country that comes from the importance of respect for Human Rights in the context of the 2030 Agenda of the Dominican Republic. .

This international event is designed to Glorify and Honor our God, through conferences and presentations planned with great care by the various national and international speakers who will address very specific current issues.

The topics to be discussed are in charge of the following speakers: Dr. Iván Gatón with the theme “The Implications of the Contemporary Role of the United Nations”, El Lic, Mariano Abreu “Transformational Neoleadership.” Apostle Santiago Ponciano: “The Power of Christian Influence”.

Pastor Dio Astacio: “The Success of a Christian Manager in Public Administration”; “and Pastor Xiomari Veloz: “The Social Role of the Spiritual Woman”.

Dr. Carlos Peña will also be present: “Vision of a New Country Under God’s Agenda”, Deputy Elías Wessin Chávez: “Security, State and Christian Conscience.

Pastor Miguel Susana will have a double responsibility this year, leading the event and the powerful and topical presentation on the “Importance of Social Communication Media in the Dominican Country Citizenship.”

The organizing committee of the III Summit has invited the honorable president Luis Abinader and, notable personalities such as the Republican senator for the United States of America Congress Adriano Espaillat, the rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Ministers of the Administrative System of the Executive Branch, renowned Deputies and Senators, as well as Christian leaders, pastors, politicians, businessmen, entrepreneurs, athletes, journalists and communicators.

They will also be recognized to the outstanding athlete Marileidy Paulino world champion in 400 meters. In that same order, posthumous tributes will be made to Dr. Roberto Miranda and Salvador Sánchez, who died in 2022, and who were speakers at the two past editions of this Summit.
