This is why the meeting promises to be extremely interesting The wonder of nature, from ethnobotanical narratives to the Planetary Garden that Sunday 10 July from 9.30 pm will see them protagonists on the stage of the Tignano Festival for the Environment and the Meeting of the Peoples.

Pardini will plot plots made of words, etymology and classical mythologyhooking on to Boldrini’s illustrations and the gardens he designed, visited and told over the years: “Of these plants I will describe medicinal, textile, dyeing and even symbolic and spiritual properties. I will physically bring some of these botanical essences directly from Versilia, collected that morning in the Apuan Alps. It will not be a simple ‘ping pong’ but uno passionate exchange of views on botany that characterizes open spaces of nature considered an integral part of the planetary garden in which we live “.

Il-Giardino-Planetario-Dario-BoldriniThis meeting will lead us to discover the wonders of nature in the most unusual and unexpected places in Italy: the gardens of the impossible, pioneering forest gardens, naturalistic refuges of the third landscape – says Boldrini – because it is increasingly urgent to relate to Mother Earth not only with respect but with profound gratitude, poetic celebration and faithful care. You become planetary gardeners and it will be exciting to introduce you to my book The Planetary Garden.

Marco Pardini he is from Versilia from Casoli di Camaiore (Lucca). He is a television popularizer of ethnobotany for Noi Tv Lucca and a Heilpraktiker naturopath. For more than thirty years he has been involved in natural medicine, he holds lessons and courses aimed at identifying plants in different areas of Italy but his “base” is in the Apuan Alps. Poetic herbarium is his second book, preceded by thePlanter. Conceived with the formula of the novel, it contains tales of people and traditions, medicines and suggestions, millenary gestures, seasonal cycles and symbolism of the Apuan flora.

Dario Boldrini was born and lives in Montespertoli (Fi). After 12 years of work in a Landscape Architecture studio in Florence (he designed some of the first urban gardens) he chose to live in the San Ripoli family farm where he founded the Seminaria association. A project that ranges from the creation of vegetable gardens and gardens to horticulture workshops for children and adults, from spirals of aromatic herbs to seminars for creative gardens. Passionate popularizer, he has produced hundreds of reports for RAI 3’s GEO program around Italy. His project for the Terza Piazza in Florence (Coop in piazza Leopoldo) has become a model of social aggregation. “Planetary gardener” is a qualification inherited from Gilles Clèment, French agronomist and landscape architect.
