For this fourth edition, the Pangea association is joining forces with the cultural center of India Gopala Krsna to offer you a particularly dense program: music, singing, gastronomy, cinema, photography, dance, traditional crafts, conference, yoga, astrology , massage… Come and discover the immense richness of the Indian subcontinent in the Art Food Garden, set up like a real Indian village especially for the festival.
As always, the event and the various workshops are completely free.

☀️​ | SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10

10:00 a.m.: Opening of the doors, of the craftsmen’s market and of the exhibition by photographer Yannick Cormier: Dravidian Catharsis.
Yannick lived for 15 years in Tamil Nadu, in southern India, where the most distant traditions have remained intact more than anywhere else. “Dravidian Catharsis” is the fruit of this deep immersion in the culture, the theater, the traditions and the soul of the mythological universe of the Tamil people.

10 a.m. – 8 p.m.: Continuous workshops
Initiation to Needra yoga, traditional henna, Ayurvedic massage, Vedic astrology, costume photobooth, mandala creation

10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Introduction to Hatha-Yoga

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Conference on Vedic astrology

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Traditional danced tales

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: screening of the documentary film “Mountain Monks” by Vasudeva Joly. The work explores the Himalayan mountains and the links between Tibetan Buddhism and Vishnuism (a branch of Hinduism). The screening will be followed by a discussion with the director and the public.

2.00 pm – 3.30 pm: Exceptional lecture by Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Goswami Maharaj, representative of Sri Gopinath Gaudya Math, one of the 4 great Vaishnava schools of India. Passing through France, he will talk about the links between the divine and ecology, and between spirituality and vegetarianism. The conference will be preceded and followed by a Kirten.

3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Odissi dance workshop

4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Introduction to sound yoga

5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Introduction to Baratha Natyam dance

6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Flora Devi’s dance performance. Born in Pune (India), Flora is an actress, storyteller and Odissi and Bollywood dancer. From Liverpool to Geneva, from Canada to Burkina Faso, she crosses the continents to share her art which appeals to young and old.

7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Baratha Natyam dance performance by the Neela Chandra company

8:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.: Bollywood dance performance by the Neela Chandra company

8:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.: Live set by Karmaâ and Max TenRom (Techno Ethnic / Live performance)

11:45 p.m.: Doors close.

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Continuous workshops

11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Introduction to the art of Mudras (sacred hand gestures)

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Lecture by Atma Singh on the benefits of Ayurveda. Ex-skier, member of the French cross-country ski team, founder of Golden Temple France (Yogi Tea) and Atma herbal teas, he will tell us about the origins of Ayurveda, its therapeutic applications in the West, the doshas and the resulting system of care.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: screening of the film “Bearers of Hope: India, a country in transition” by Jane Schinasi and Léa Durant, followed by a discussion with co-director Jane Schinasi.

1:30 p.m.: Inauguration of the giant participative mandala

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Lecture by Chandra Shekhar on the Gunas. In Indian philosophy, the Gunas are the essential principles of Primordial Nature (Prakriti), the original cause of the phenomena of the material world. They manifest in each of us and represent the qualities of existence. There are three Gunas (Tamas, Rajas and Sattva) which balance each other and contain all the principles constituting the cosmos.

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Odissi dance workshop

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Introduction to Baratha Natyam dance (parents-children)

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Introduction to sound yoga

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Bāmdara live set (Downtempo)

7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Live set by the Toulouse label CULTE (Multicultural Beats / Melodic Techno)
